Congrats!!!![]()
A friend of mine has PCOS and has never been able to concieve. Just gone through hell with it all.
Hope its a great pregnancy!!![]()

I just had to share the news with all my DIS friends!
It's way too early for me to be telling anyone, but I can't stop myself!![]()
DH and I have been trying since June. I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) in September, so we thought it was going to take a while and some drugs to get pregnant. So we decided to stop trying and I planned to lose some weight (I lost 10 pounds). My dr put me on some meds to combat my insulin resistance and also help me get pregnant.
So today I did the test, and it had a bright pink +! I'm only 4 weeks along, which I know is way too early, especially since PCOS causes higher miscarriage rates, but even if that does happen, just being able to conceive is a huge deal.
I've already told my mom and dad and DH and most of the ladies I work with. I just can't believe it.
Did anyone else just have to tell everyone too early?
Thanks for listening!
I still didn't "relax" til I got to the half way mark, but still worried a little. I was 37 when I got pregnant and 38 when I had him. However, my pregnancy was a breeze and I can't wait to do it again.

I feel stupid about it now. I wish I had done it on Sunday, because I could have told my parents in person at least. I had this whole thing planned that I was going to make them a special dinner with baby back ribs, baby spinach, baby carrots, but I had to tell them. My mom's more excited than I am!How in the world did you wait so long to test? Or did you test a few days ago and just now getting around to telling us?
AF isn't due until Monday and I have to physically restrain myself from testing already!!![]()
Congrats.
We are 14+ weeks but haven't told anyone yet. We just learned last week that we are 4 weeks further along that we thought, as DW had a full blown AF right on schedule after she was already pregnant. I didn't think that could happen, but the OB/GYN say she sees it in about 5% of pregnancies. Who knew?
Congratulations!
I'm going to suggest taking lots of folic acid. Don't wait, the earlier you start taking it, the better.
