I'm Pregnant!

Congratulations!!! Yes, I told people early. After my first son was born, the doctor didn't think that I'd be able to get pregnant again, so I was too excited to keep it to myself.

I found out almost 2 years ago to the date as you did and I was about just as far along! I wasnt even 5 weeks and I had to tell everyone! Congratulations!!! And I hope you have a happy, healthy pregnancy!

Thank you all so much!

It's so fun sharing this with all of you!

Congrats!!!:dancer:

A friend of mine has PCOS and has never been able to concieve. Just gone through hell with it all.

Well, I suspect that I'm on the low end of the spectrum of the disease...if there is a spectrum. Like I said, I'm not super overweight and that seems to be the thing that triggers a lot of symptoms. Of course by the time the baby comes, things might be quite different :scared:

But I'll worry about that later!

I have a couple of friends that have it too. One had no problems and the other is still trying after 2 years and major weight fluctuations.

Yeah!! I am so happy for you. Pixie Dust for a healthy pregnancy!! How in the world did you wait so long to test? Or did you test a few days ago and just now getting around to telling us?

AF isn't due until Monday and I have to physically restrain myself from testing already!! :-)

I predict Girl ... just because I want one! :-) Little boys are awesome though.

Congrats.

We are 14+ weeks but haven't told anyone yet. We just learned last week that we are 4 weeks further along that we thought, as DW had a full blown AF right on schedule after she was already pregnant. I didn't think that could happen, but the OB/GYN say she sees it in about 5% of pregnancies. Who knew?

Congratulations!!! I have PCOS as well and it took us a while to finally get out sticky bean. I totally understand waiting to tell people, and I wanted to, but I ended up blurting it out around 8 weeks after we lost a twin. I decided I'd want the support of my family and friends if something else happened, and I didn't want the first thing they heard about the pregnancy to be sad news. But as you can see from my ticker, things are going great! We just found out we're expecting a boy last night!!

I wish you all the best!! Sticky vibes!!

Wait... it appears my ticker is gone! lol! Well, we're 19w3d, I think!

Congratulations!

I'm going to suggest taking lots of folic acid. Don't wait, the earlier you start taking it, the better.

Congradulations Sarah! I'm very happy for you. :goodvibes
Best wishes for safe and healthy pregancy. :wizard:

I believe we told our family and friends right away, but not the job.

Best advice I got for my 1st DD who was born in late August(you'll be around there) was to wear socks. Which I thought was crazy because it's 90 degrees! She was right! I was in the recovery freezing. :rotfl:

CONGRATS!!!!! I hope you have an uneventful pregnancy!!!

I just had to share the news with all my DIS friends!

It's way too early for me to be telling anyone, but I can't stop myself! :goodvibes

DH and I have been trying since June. I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) in September, so we thought it was going to take a while and some drugs to get pregnant. So we decided to stop trying and I planned to lose some weight (I lost 10 pounds). My dr put me on some meds to combat my insulin resistance and also help me get pregnant.

So today I did the test, and it had a bright pink +! I'm only 4 weeks along, which I know is way too early, especially since PCOS causes higher miscarriage rates, but even if that does happen, just being able to conceive is a huge deal.

I've already told my mom and dad and DH and most of the ladies I work with. I just can't believe it.

Did anyone else just have to tell everyone too early?
Thanks for listening!

Congratulations and good luck. I didn't tell a lot of people til I reached 13 weeks. My DH of course knew instantly and then we told our few congregational friends when I was 8 weeks and I told a close friend at work at the same time. I told my boss at 9 weeks so that way if I blew up at anyone, he wouldn't fire me because he knew the hormones were loose. :rotfl2: I still didn't "relax" til I got to the half way mark, but still worried a little. I was 37 when I got pregnant and 38 when I had him. However, my pregnancy was a breeze and I can't wait to do it again.

Good luck again and I hope that PCOS keeps itself at bay while you're pregnant. :flower3:

Thank you all so much! And babydust and happy/healthy pregnancies to all who have/want them!

I feel stupid about it now. I wish I had done it on Sunday, because I could have told my parents in person at least. I had this whole thing planned that I was going to make them a special dinner with baby back ribs, baby spinach, baby carrots, but I had to tell them. My mom's more excited than I am!

Congrats.

Congrats! How in the world are you keeping the secret?! I wish I was that strong! Maybe I'll be lucky and be 4 weeks longer too....I don't think so though. Best of luck to both of you.
Congratulations!

I've been on a pre-natal for 4 months (ever since we started trying), so I'm good there!

Congratulations!!! What wonderful news! :cloud9:

Congrats!

I told the people that I would be ok with telling if I lost the pregnancy pretty early.

People that I wouldn't be comfortable sharing miscarriage info with had to wait until after the first trimester with both kids-that was sort of my guidepost...

CONGRATULATIONS
