But..how do you know you're 4 weeks with a home test?? LOL

I coulda SWORE I was only 2-3 weeks wheN i took the home test.....dr says I was 6 weeks... I was like.. NO WAY... but the ultrasounds coincide with their calculations...

But...seems they add 2 weeks prior to conception too... so put that into play..

I've been charting, so I know the date of conception and yes 4 weeks includes those extra 2 weeks. So...I'm really only 2 weeks...which is way, way too early to be here talking to y'all, but I can't help it!

Unless we got pregnant before my last period, but my early temps weren't high enough to indicate that.

First of all, congrats! I told the world the first time (unexpected), but then learned the m/c rate for early pregnancy, and held it in for the others. However, I've never had one - thought I'd be part of the one in four - and I am overly very hopeful for those who might have issues. Fingers crossed!

Due dates are calculated from the first day of your last period. So when you conceive, you are already about 2 weeks pregnant! I'm surprised no one has explained this to you before, I know you have four kids! It's very crazy but that's how they do it.

Congratulations, OP! You are making me want another baby!

I just had to share the news with all my DIS friends!

It's way too early for me to be telling anyone, but I can't stop myself!


I've already told my mom and dad and DH and most of the ladies I work with. I just can't believe it.
