I'm now a Disney shareholder!

Wow I really feel part of it now.
I bought shares in Euro Disney since they are at rock bottom price (about 4.75 pence each).
I bought 2000 shares to enable me to be part of the shareholders club, which entitles me to lots of benefits. since I am going to Disneyland Paris next spring I get discounts on hotels,tickets and merchandise, plus 10% off in any european Disney store too. That has to be worth the £110 it cost.
Great idea if you are buying favours etc or just if you are going to Disneyland Paris.

I read about them on the Disneyland Paris forum on the Disboards.
I then went to: http://www.selftrade.co.uk/
I have copied the page with Euro disney on it. If you cannot see it, just type in Euro Disney and click 'exact words' and it will find them. They are selling at 0.07 euro.

Next you will need to register an account before you can buy any shares. You need to fund the account first.
I added £110.00 from my bank account to make an immediate payment from my debit card. £110.00 will cover for the 2000 shares you need to buy to get share holder's benefits, this will also cover you for the fees of buying.
Next you click on the Dealing link.
click 'buy' and then enter the amount of shares, ie 2000.
The name, which is Euro Disney
The Symbol which is PEDL
The market which is Paris and click next.
It will give you the details of what you are buying.
That is it, it was easy.
Next you need to fill in this form:
http://www.eurodisney.com/en/pdf/CGClub_2006.pdf
and post it off to DLP to get your shareholders card.
I am about to do this now I have bought my shares.

I struggled at first, and kept ringing them up, but I now know how to do it and this is the step by step way.
It makes you feel as though you own a little piece, plus it's great fir the benefits, which can be seen here:http://www.eurodisney.com/en/0324.php

shame there's no benefit in the States, otherwise I would have joined in too. It's a long time since we went to DLP (first 2 years it was open) and find it's not a cheap trip over even nowadays, plus the weather is often a bit 'iffy'. Shame.
