In math the other day, we had to make a timeline of our lives, with important dates on it. For me, two of my dates was when I played T-Ball, and Little League baseball. My math teacher then suggested that I play on the HS team. I told him I should be playing. He then said he is going to talk to the baseball coach about signing me up.
Now, I just rocked out in Little League. I was an AWSOME lead off hitter. (the person who hits first) I must have had like a .450 batting average, (.300 is good), and I stole a TON of bases. In fact, I would get on first base, then steal second and third. In fact if I didn't have cubscouts at the same general time that most of the games were on, we would have won a lot more games. If the league I was in had an all-star team, I would have been on it without a question.
The thing that bothers me though, was that this was in the 5th grade. 4 years ago. I havn't really touched a bat sence. So I can only imagine how rusty I would be. Not to mention I don't think I would be able to hit 80-90 MPH fastballs.
So yeah, have you ever been pushed into something you didn't really have any interest in doing?
