I'm new to the world of Harry Potter!

I cried so hard this morning I couldn't see. And then something got in my eye, my contact lens was bothering me & then I really couldn't see! Had to take them out (while sitting on the train) & then put on my glasses. I've got less than 100 pages to go....

Having finished Book 7, I've been listening to it now in the car....geez, every morning I'm in tears before I get to the end of my block! Sometimes for sad, sometimes for happy, all the time for sentimentality!

oh! just re-read that you only have 100 pages left - YIKES!! HOW did you tear yourself away for work today????? It's a 200 page climax!

It was hard! I wanted to keep on reading but I couldn't. Then I was going to read during lunch, but I forgot that I made a lunchdate with a friend! I'll finish it tonight, then we can discuss, discuss, discuss!

Missy, those last 100 pages is a pure, adrenaline-rush, roller coaster ride . . . I was so wiped out emotionally when I finished, I was shaking . . . Enjoy it! It is an amazing book.

I'm about to leave the office & get on the train...hope I can finish before I get home. And I'm supposed to go out to dinner tonight! I may have to hold back & wait until I am in the house, but I don't think I can wait.

When I finished it the first time, past midnight on a weeknight, I was dumbstruck, blown away. In the morning I emailed a friend who had ever-so-patiently waiting for me to finish (I wouldn't let her say one word about the book til I was done!!! Poor thing was ready to explode!).

all I could say in my email was.... Wow.

Once again, I want to thank everyone who encouraged me to read these books. What a great series!

I don't know if I have a favorite, I really loved them all. But if I'm forced I think I'd list them this way (most favorite first):

1. Order of the Phoenix
2. Deathly Hallows
3. Half Blood Prince
4. Chamber of Secrets
5. Goblet of Fire
6. POA
7. SS

But they were all great.

Favorite characters: Harry, Ron & Hermione of course. But I loved Neville, Luna, Snape, MacGonagell, Mr. & Mrs. Weasley, Ginny, the twins.

I'm still digesting everything. I'm sure I'll think of more likes soon.
