OK, here's the post i tried to do the other night... It has pics now -- and they work

My Wedding Dress - I wanted to go for something with a little color so that it would coordinate with the rest of my bridal party. I am all about coordination and details!! Just imagine this pic with the navy color of the bridesmaids dresses replacing the red -- and that's my wedding dress!

My Bridesmaids Dresses - I have three bridesmaids and one junior bridesmaids. I wanted them to feel comfy in the dress they wore and i wanted them to LOVE it. So, i decided to pick a color, then let them each choose a dress that suited their body type and preference. I really hope that isn't toooo corny and won't look tooo mix-matchy...

My Flowergirl Dress - I wanted my flowergirl's dress to have more of a "mini-bride" feel rather than the typical ankle length little girls dress. I think she'll look BEAUTIFUL in this dress!!! You can only see the back in the pic, but the front is totally beaded and covered in lace.

My Wedding Cake - Since I was going with a Winter Wonderland theme, we will be using snowflakes EVERYWHERE!!! So, i wanted the cake to have snowflakes on it Here's a pic of the design the baker will use for the cake.

My Headpiece and Veil - This is what really makes me feel like a bride!! My headpiece is a tiara made of pearls and sworovski (sp??) crystals. My veil has handbeaded sworovski crystal droplets all over it. I LOVE MY VEIL!!!!

All of the groomsmen, ushers, ringbearer, and of course the groom are wearing black tuxes and these blue vests. The pic of the single guy with the darker vest is the vest/tie combo they'll be wearing! DF will be wearing a black on black pinstripe suit which he looks soo gorgeous in!!

Ok, sooo what's the verdict?? Hate, Like, Love???

Just got off the phone with my TA.... AND AND AND got the specific buiding and floor that we wanted at POR!!!! AHHH what a great feeling!!!! Sooo... We will be at Parterre Place on the third floor with a great view of the river.

I like your wedding dress and your BM dresses. Have you played around with the "Dress Your Wedding" feature on the David's Bridal website.

I have spent hours with that tool. We have changed the bridal party attire several times in order to accomodate everyone.

You can take a screenshot of it in order to post it over here.
On Windows, just use the "PrintScreen" button on the upper left side of your keyboard. Then open MS Paint (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Paint) and paste it in (Edit -> Paste). Then you can crop it so that it's just the wedding party picture. Save it off and upload it to photobucket.
On Mac, use the Grab application (Applications -> Utilities -> Grab). Pretty self explanatory but PM me if you need help.

Sorry if that was a bit OT, but it's great for brides using David's Bridal dresses (it looks like you are). It will help us all visualize your attire. Enjoy playing with your wedding party ensemble.

Ok, so it's time for my engagement story -- I don't have a huge, big, fancy story... Just a simple I love you and a ring. DF is veryyyyy traditional, so i expected a proposal on a holiday, down on one knee, and a diamond.... I got two out of three!!! It was February 8, 2007 and my fiance and I were at my house watching a movie. He went out to his car, came back, and sat down. All of a sudden he just hopped on the floor, got on one knee, opened a small black velvet box and asked me to do the honor of being his wife... Needless to say i was in complete shock. I was fully expecting a V-Day proposal and it came early He said he knew i would be expecting it on V-Day, so he wanted to do it earlier and looking at me that night he said he just couldn't wait any longer. Maybe it wasn't the most romantic setting in this world, but it meant the world to me!!
