I'm in the dark on this subject....

Reading that post about getting warm and fuzzy about reading your tags made me think. I love reading other peoples tags, but I don't really get them.

Do the TF make up the words in your tag, not just give them color? If you delete your tag, do you have to wait and get another one from the TF, like if you write another one, it won't come out colored? And also, do the TF just pick people and tag them? Or is it a seniority thing..?? Just wondering...!!

You can make up your own tag and change it whenever you want. The tag fairies will change it if they happen to read something you post and think it would be cute or whatever. There is no seniority, no rhyme or reason, it's just fun. They are the only ones that can add color.

A bit of a suggestion though. Make sure you don't ask for one. It sort of spoils the fun for the tag fairy. And not to long ago, everyone was asking for one and they/he/she got wore out.

So, just wait and see and maybe one day your tag will be different.

I can't really help you too much, Caroline, because there's much mystery surrounding the Tag Fairy, atleast for me. That's part of the magic!


All I know is that I once posted for advice on pursuing a professional career with the Disney Co., and at some point during that thread, I discovered myself tagged. So for my particular tag, yes, it was all the work of the TF. Color and words.


Oh, and just yesterday I inquired in a thread about how I could change the color for my bio info (Location, Posts, etc.) and, lo and behold, the next time I posted, I was in PINK!

One more thing I do know - if you try to toggle your tag, you're out of luck!! You risk losing it AND the color!!

(And that's what I learned from reading tags!! )

Quite frankly, I'm less interested in what your furbaby's feet smell like and more curious about why you're smelling them!!

ok, fine you got it out of me. One morning while I was lying in bed, she hopped up on the bed, stretched out and her feet were in my face when I went to breathe... I inhaled a plentiful aroma of fritos

Ok... I'm seriously glad I read this thread because I had been looking all over my user cp trying to figure out how to add color to my location and post count! Silly me didn't even realize it was TFT. Good thing I didn't toggle my tags!!!

I got them both the same night! I just woke up in the morning and found myself tagged. I love having them, they make me feel like someone must have read some of my posts!
