:cutie: Just started Weight Watchers on my own (gained almost 10 pounds this past summer :scared1: ) and I want something to eat and can't have it.

Anyone else out there hungry? Misery loves company. :rotfl:

I'm hungry...but I'm in opposite boat... I NEED to gain weight and it's not working....which is odd. I'm 15 weeks pregnant...and am still at 121, which is what I started at. By this time last yr, when I was pregnant with little Sage, I had already gained 7 lbs.... The dr told me to drink ensure if it helps...
So..I'm eating cereal now...lol...
wish we could pass around weight!!! :)
and other things...LMAO

ROFL! Sorry, but I cannot at this time express my condolences to your non-gaining-weight problem. lololol :rotfl:

Are you eating all of your Points? When I do WW I am never hungry, I actually eat more than when not doing WW! I'm all about salads and fat free refried beans with salsa, fruits, veggies...I'm never running on empty with WW. Are you eating all you're supposed to eat? Drinking all of your water?

I lost weight the first 3-4 months of both pregnancies-including the twins. I ended up gaining 25 and 35 lbs in the end. DS was 8.1 and the twins were 7.5 and 6.7. If you are eating well I wouldn't worry too much. If you are sick or not eating well that is a different story.

Oh, I'm hungry too--I am off to get an apple--honeycrips are in and are they YUMMY!!!

I tried WW and I was starving on it. I just couldn't stick with it. I still have 15 lbs. to lose :sad2: but I haven't figured out how and when I am going to be able to do that. Oh well. :confused3

I hope you fare better than I did! I don't know what time it is where you are, but I usually just go to bed when I am hungry but not allowed to eat. I end up getting a lot more sleep when I'm on a diet. :lmao:

Yeah...I gained about 35 last yr with Sage and he weighed 8lbs even... You had big twins!! WOw... I am sick..but eating mostly well :)

OP, what about those WW bars? Aren't they supposed to fill you up in a snack?

If you are really that hungry, I think you should eat... points be damned. Depending on what you're eating, it's possible that you aren't getting enough calories, since the "point" system is such an odd calculation.

Also, I seem to remember that my friend could eat unlimited veggies when she did WW. I could be wrong though.

I feel your pain. I still have 25 pounds to go -- and a cruise in 6 weeks.

 I'm a lifer on WW-have lost a lot of weight w/them. Like a prior poster said, make sure you are eating all of your points-including the 35 if you are on Flex. Also, drink the water. Next, make some tea or coffee-it fills you up-I know what I'm talking about. Make sure you are spreading your points around the day, and lastly, the veggies. Hey, they are zero points. And, if you are really hungry-have an apple. That is how I determine if I'm really hungry and not bored. An apple will fill me up with a glass of water. If I decide I don't want an apple......then I guess I wasn't really hungry!! Hang in there!!!!

How funny! I have a cruise in December too. I have 15-20 lbs. that I'd like to lose, but I'm not sure that I can do it by then and it is making me want to cancel the trip. :sad2: I had good luck with Slim Fast before, so I think I'm going to try it again. :confused3

Please don't cancel a fun vacation because you think you need to lose weight!

Does this mean that we'll have to be "good" when you're here next weekend??? :confused3

Then again, after all the GOOOOD FOOOOD (jalapeno poppers, potato skins, buffalo chicken, fried fish, potato wedges, mashed potatoes, apple dumpling with ice cream, various other desserts, plus bacon and eggs at Good Days this morning) that we ate this weekend, I definitely need to eat "good" for a while.

P.S. Do you like pot roast?? :scratchin

ITA!! OMG...this vacation will be what you need to either get you motivated to lose the weight even more...or make you realize you didn't need to lose it afterall :)
Go, have fun!

I was 2 pts short of my allotment last night. I can only have up to 24 pts and I had 22. I like to be a couple under. I was just in a "moaning and groaning" mood last night I guess. ROFL :cutie:

I did WW about 9 years ago and lost almost 50 pounds on it, and kept it off. I still have all my books and points trackers. It's just this passed summer my grandfather (a.k.a. SeaSpray's father) died and whenever our family got together for fixing up his house, etc, all we ever got was pizzas and donuts, lol. That's why I gained. And I have a cruise in less than a month and I don't want to be harpooned with I swim in the water. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks to whoever posted the low point foods, by the way!! :)

Why do you find me wherever I go???

YES we have to be good when I come up this weekend, and YES I like pot roast. You better start your diet on Friday so that when I come up on Saturday we can stick to it TOGETHER!

I don't know about weight watchers. But cooking a quarter cup of quick-cooking oatmeal in the microwave and then eating, fills me up. No sugar, just a hint of milk.

All day long, the tvs in our waiting area plays the Travel Channel so there's always pictures of food up on the screen. It's torture to watch before lunchtime.

Have you considered switching to Core for a few weeks until you can get your body adjusted to the smaller portions? Then you could have all the fruits, veggies and lean meats that you want, when you want--without counting points. The low fat popcorn is also a freebie. Just a thought if you are feeling hungry and frustrated...

I have been doing Core since Feb. and have lost nearly 40 pounds so far...Good luck! :goodvibes
