I'm going to die of old age on hold today...

4 hours and 7 minutes, finally picked up! Only to be told that I was transferred into the wrong queue. Good thing you have to plug in your information prior so the computer can direct you to the right location....... She transfers me and it clicks and immediately goes to a busy signal and disconnected. I'm done. >:(>:(>:(>:(

I'm at 4 hours and counting and for some reason I can't see any of the summer cruises on the website anymore. Not sure why, I'm gold and have been looking at rooms all morning.
The same thing happened yesterday. It seems totally random that you're looking at new cruises one minute and the next you can't even see the new dates.

OMG worst case scenario! My costco agent had to transfer me to another agent because she had to go to lunch. I was terrified of getting disconnected. Fortunately it didn't happen but I'm almost at 5 hours now.

I did expect a long hold time, but really, Disney needs to have more agents available cause 5 hours is pretty nutso

4 hours on hold and I got disconnected.... another hour and a half and I finally got thru. They were MASSIVELY helpful, but yeah, the phones lines are crazy messed up any time there's a rush... I was on for 8 hours last year when they cancelled my cruise.

But, I'm excited we got everything sorted relatively easily and the agent even had someone come double check before she finalized everything since I was doing A LOT.

I just wanted to let everyone know that there were many more rooms available upon calling DCL than were showing on the website this morning. I had booked our cruises online at 6am, but I was very surprised that the room choices were so limited, so I decided to call. It did take almost 2 hours, but the person who helped me was amazing! He was able to change all of our cabins to exactly what we wanted. If you are not finding what you want online, you may be surprised at what options are available if you call. I know I was!!! I am sure that using a TA would save a lot of frustration, but for do-it-yourselfers like me, calling made a huge difference!
You can also use the chat function on the website. I did this after booking my cruise this morning and it was much quicker than waiting hours on the phone.

That is HORRIBLE. I am so sorry. 3.5 hours was more than enough for me.

I do not want to cruise but it literally makes me sick to think of you all spending that length of time 'waiting'. I can't stand calling MDE or IT or even DVC lately and that pales in comparison to your DCL stories. Oh My.

It. Should. Not. Happen. Solution: Hire more people. End of story.

Ok, I'm officially thinking something is wrong. I'm at 5 hours and 38 minutes here holding. I don't see anyone else reporting this long of a hold time.

I guess I was lucky. I just looked at my reservation confirmation and I was on hold just less than an hour. I called the minute they were open.

Guys, I'm really at the point of losing it here. Almost 7 hours. I just want to cry.

:(

Seriously, I think you might be better off to hang up and call back. I called at 4:30 EDT, waited maybe 10 minutes. Total call length was 28 minutes. Someone else reported a short wait time a bit upthread, so it's not just me.

The price did go up a little since this morning, room availability was obviously lower, and I had to waitlist my dining preference. But it might have been worth not waiting hours on hold.

the problem is DCL hasnt sailed in a year- so outside of new release days And cancellation days the call volume is probably so low there isn’t justification to have more heads for the 2-3 days of volume a month (if that!)

Are you trying to book or are you trying to modify what you have already booked? I am asking because if you go ahead and book online with a three day reservation hold, you should be able to modify after calling back. I just called and was connected in 4 minutes. Maybe hang up and call again??? I used the 800-449-3380 number. Sorry, and good luck.
