OK - so I would really like to eat at Le Cellier when during my stay, but NO times are available - NOT EVEN LUNCH! I'm probably just venting some anticipation frustration here, but I feel like MANY others are getting ADRs for Le Cellier when they book the CP. I'm not interested in booking a CP - I really feel like I can sit on the sidelines and hear the music (which is the main draw for me). Does anyone else think that WDW is "holding" ADR spaces for the CP packages to make more money? Granted, I'm only a solo diner, but seriously ... I'm feeling slighted here. :confused3

Not sure when you are going but I made ADR's there about a month ago for Dec. 13th and there was ONLY an 8:30 time slot available without the CP Package. I thought that was a bit crazy but we took it. Keep calling closer to your date and maybe something will open. Good Luck!

I know I should have tried sooner :( I tried at about 60 days out and as of today, I still have no luck. I shant give up! But I will probably complain

When we tried to get our in September we got the last time slot they had and we had our travel agent arrange ours as soon as they could. It is the second smallest restaurant on Disney property and is becoming extremely popular.

Just keep calling someone maybe someone will cancel. I know that it is a pain to keep calling but for popular places that is the only way to go. Even if you don't have one arranged once you are there, keep trying someone may cancel at the last minute. Good luck and pixie dust to you.

People are clearly eating more TS meals than in previous years -- this phenomenon was noted on these forums even before the Great Free Dining Fiasco of 2005. It's probably a short-term spike, and a few years from now it'll probably not be as much of an issue. Until then, we just need to advise everyone to make those ADRs early.

If all else fails, try for a walk in. Not everyone with an ADR shows up. And walking in at an off time is a good time to get lucky, after traditional lunch time or before traditional dinner time.

I just returned from a trip to Disney and did notice the sitdown restaurants were mobbed all the time.

Although I stayed concierge we did have a few sit down dinners. They were filled to the brim. Maybe more and more are going with the dinning plan. I also noticed no wait at counter serve restaurant.

In the past the counter serve restaurants had huge lines, not so this trip. We did pick a few counter serve restaurants for some badly need foot rest and a light lunch. The food was very good, much improved over what I've had in the past.

When making our ADRs for our August trip, the CM told me that single and double tables are hard to come by at Le Cellier on any day, that may be part of the problem.

I am a solo who made an ADR for lunch at Le Cellier at my 90 day point and then the day didn't work out so I tried to switch to a couple of different dates and would take any time but had no luck because I am alone, well after I posted a thread on the dis board saying I was irritated because I was being punished for traveling alone even though I was planning ahead tables are being saved for 4-8 people parties who aren't planning as far ahead as I am but will be rewarded with a hard to get ADR,I said I was going to book a party for 3 and show up alone and if they send me away that is fine.I did call and get a table for 3 with about 20 different time choices(not fair)They really should have a way to accomadate the people who call 1st instead of party size. Also I have booked a CP package for Le Cellier,I was able to get it on the 1st day they went on sale but not after so even if you are doing the CP package you will still have problems when you are solo or even 2 party.Good luck!!! :)

Yes, its all about the money. I too had a problem booking LeCellier for 2. No problem booking for 4 though, hopefully my parents will be joining us but after Wilma its going to be pretty tough for them (they live in Fla.).

Keep calling and you might be able to get a PS. When we were there last week, they were turning away all walk-ins at dinner time. But if you don't get in, don't worry about it, there are many other (and much better) restaurants in Epcot. After the horrible service we received at LeCeller last week, we won't be going back for quite a long time.

I dont think its all about the money because Le Cellier CP package is included in the dining plan. I called very early and got an ADR for the CP under the plan. I think its all about timing.
Le Cellier is one of the FIRST to book up because it is a premier (and very popular) restaurant and only takes 1 table credit per person. Most people on the dining plan are calling to secure this one at 90 days out so they go FAST.

Here's a tip that may or may not help you....

When we were on our last trip we found several times that if it was raining people would not make it to their ADR's. So, they were taking walk-ins happily to fill the space. So, if it rains, make a dash over there and see if you can get in :teeth:

Otherwise, keep calling, lots of people rearrange up until the last minute so you never know, you might get lucky.

I called on the 90 day mark and had no problem getting a Le Cellier ADR for 2. Maybe you should have called sooner. Don't know what to tell you :(

I tried to get CP at Le Cellier at the 90 mark for a party of 5 and couldn't, so I am not sure it is about singles and/or the package...I really think it may be luck of the draw.

Although, your being able to book the table for 3 as opposed to 1 is very interesting...

I really think that it is just a small, popular restaurant and therefore, hard to get!

Good luck! I hope you DO get to eat there. :flower:

Thanks to all for your well wishes and suggestions. I will most definitely be watching for rain to make a mad dash over there - lol. I now know that I should not have waited to book - originally I thought that being a solo, it would be easier to be seated -even as a walk in. Sadly, I see that my guessing was wrong. The good news is that I have Chefs de France booked as a back-up, so I'll be able to try something new that I might not have tried if I were able to book at Le Cellier.

Thanks again - I'll keep trying :earsgirl:

Try Marrakesh Morocco at Epcot! I ate at Tangierine Cafe on my last trip and was totally impressed. On another thread, everyone is RAVING about this restaurant! Plus, there is a little band and belly dancers!! YEAH!

When I called at our 90 day mark to book the Candlelight Processional package for my dh & I, I could only get an Adr of 4:00 with seats at the 8:15 show. That was all that was left for the week we are there. The CM did say that we would have had more options if we didn't just have 2 people in our party. I also tried to get another Adr for lunch or dinner for that week without the CP package and there was nothing available. So much for the week after Thanksgiving being a slow time...

I called at the 90 day mark and was able to get LeCellier for 4 but I had very few choices on times. We will now be a party of 5 so my youngest DS (3) may have to sit on my lap for that meal. I keep trying for a new ADR but no luck yet.

I hope you can get a ressie! :wizard:

Unfortunately this is not the case for everyone. I called at our 90+10 mark and tried for 6 different nights for 5 people and got NOTHING. I even have called a number of times since then and still nothing. I even tried the CP package at 90+10 (even though we just wanted the dining) and still nothing. Well, there was one time slot for dinner at 8:45 (I thought it was too late for my kids). Then, I said okay to 8:45 and it was already gone. This was 3 minutes later.
