helllo my fabulous PTR readers! so sorry I havent posted my planning tips the past 2 days, ive been SOOOOOOO busy with work and my family coming home! and also all my planning stuff is on Craigs mac and hes being lazy converting the word files and sending them over for me! which apparently he will be doing tomorrow! he better! or else!!

so i have no planning tips for you! but ill give u some quick updates! first of all 2 days left of work! woo! so exciting!

secondly my aunt bought me a almost real (aka a very good knockoff) prada purse from italy and a super cute black shirt! the purse is just to die for! honestly i love it!

thirdly i found the cutest super heros tshirt at walmart for like 12 bucks! its perfect for universal! i think that and my pinoccio tshirt are the only character tshirts im gunna be bringing!

fourthly the camp went and watched Gforce today cuz the weather was so awful and we couldnt get the to zoo and quite frankly that was the worst movie of ALL TIME! but on the upside I saw a preview from the frog princess and I got all excited! it actually looks pretty good and I like that they are using old school animation!

fifthly, making 40 photo cds that hold 400 photos for each camp kid seems like a great idea but holy smokes does it take long!

sixthly, i did not loose any weight in my weigh in on monday so i gotta get my booty movin!!! i wanna loose at least 5 more lbs (so i can gain em right back!) before we leave!

seventhly, im exhausted and need sleep! so goodnight!!

o and 23 DAYS!! woooo!

hellloo!!! and welcome! I use MAC products for pretty much all of my makeup! Unfortunatly, its pretty expensive (at least here in canada it is - can't get anything under 20 bucks!) but I find it to be worth it because its very good quality, doesnt bother my skin and most importantly REALLY stays on well!

HELLO my lovelies!! I'm so so sorry Ive been MIA (if anyone was missing me ) but I am back and I'm on my month long vacation so expect to be sick of me!!

So work is done and I'm feelin great especially with my very nice paycheques hehe! I went shopping friday night to celebrate! I think I'm now set for clothing the only thing left to buy are runners and comfy flip flops (which I think Ive found a pair of super soft Roxy ones) and a couple of toiletry items! Oh and i Found 18inch extensions (real human hair) for 30 bucks!!! Which makes me happy because I was gunna buy the same ones for 110!!

Other then that the only exciting news is that it was Craiggy and my anniversary yesterday! I love that boy so much and it was nice to celebrate our loveydoveyness! We've officially put up with each other for a year! haha Although we have been dating longer then that!

I got him.... a super nice handheld HD video camera from Kodak which is AWESOME and he said he cant wait to make a disney vacation montage! haha Hes always wanted a video camera... being the dorky journalism grad that he is! Maybe this is the start of his famousness!?

I also made him a scrapbook of our first year together and he LOVED it! I worked for sooo long and so hard on this thing but it was definitly worth it!

As for me, he got me the planet blue box set which included Planet Earth and Blue Planet and I LOVE it!

Im getting the other part of my present in Disney as part of my big surprise! So im even more anxious to get there now!

And I cant believe its only 19 DAYS!!! WOOO finailly into the teens!!

To make up for my lack of posting of my tips, I am going to post (in my next post) Tips Ive compiled for ALL the theme parks! So Enjoy and hopefully this will be useful!!

My Top Tips for Each Park

I did not make up these tips! I just put together a list of tips that I found interesting/useful that I found on a tip thread on the disboards!!

Epcot

try Beverly at Cool Club in Epcot and get pic!

Something that we did for the first time on our trip in June was to put your image in your own video game at Innoventions. We had a blast doing the movements and then playing the game. You can then e-mail your video game to yourself and play it when you get back home.

take a picture at Epcot with the geo dome in the background as if you are holding it in your hand.

Drink around the world

There's a talking water fountain in Epcot. I belive it's between Innovations & Honey I Shrunk the Audienc

The Grey Goose slush (or Grand Marnier) in France- sitting on a bench with one watching the world go by!

When you get to the Outback area lift the lids on the old time soda coolers. Get ready for a surprise. (The Outback section may be closed for refurbishing)

Visit Belle's Library at France

British Invasion Beatles Tribute in England

America – view the 911 flag

Japan – visit toy museum

Animal Kingdom

There is a talking trashcan at Animal Kingdom, out at Conservation Station. We were in line getting ice cream and he got in line behind us.

I saw Devine on my 8th trip to the World. She "hangs out" on the path from Asia to Africa

And this isn't something you'll see but if you're entering the Animal Kingdom and there's a long line at the turnstiles try going through the Rainforest Cafe. There's a park entrance at the rear of the gift shop.

Try and visit one of the walking trails

Hollywood Studios

In front of the Chinese Theatre you can see signatures and handprints of a lot of celebrities that visited MGM. There are even signatures of some of the characters! Then turn and go to your left. There is a little garden on the right side of the building with busts of famous people. just saw this on our next to last visit. It was very interesting walking around reading about the stars.

At the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids play area, climb the stairs between the garden hose and the slide coming out of a roll of film. There is a dog's nose. Put your hand in the nostrils. The dog sniffs you!

check out the "Singing in the Rain" umbrella that is attached to one of the streetlights near the old Hunchback theater. Grab the umbrella and step on the black square embedded in the cement underneath it for a nice surprise!

pull the rope at the Well at Indiana Jones stunt show

If you go into the art gift shop by the Little Mermaid show, you can go into an area where you get to draw a Disney character with an artist. Each time is a different character and you get to keep your drawing. It runs about 20 minutes and I believe starts on the 1/2 hour

Magic Kingdom

In the Main St. train station lower level, up on one of the shelves (Cast members (CM's) can halp you locate it) you can see Aladdin's lamp as well as other characters' belongings waiting to be picked up. Some park guest lost and found items are there too, is the artificial leg with the name Smith on it (a Mary Poppins joke) one of these?

Town Square Exposition Hall in MK. It's just to the right when you come into the park. Go into the very back of the store. It's like an old movie theatre. They have large cut-outs from old movies that you can take pictures with.

Has anyone else heard Stitch call for Lilo in the women's bathroom?? I was alone in the ladies room (very late, almost 1am for EMH) between Adventureland and Liberty Square one evening and I heard Stitch's voice! He was saying, 'Lilo?Lilo? Are you in here? Lilo? ANd then laughing.

Collect Pressed Pennies

If you sit on the stone ledge on the side of Cinderella's castle, you will hear Stitch giggle and tell you to be quiet because he's hiding

Try having a late evening meal or snack outside on the second story balcony of Pinocchio's Village Haus as the lights are coming on at night in Fantasyland. All the trees and rides are lit up and it is a wonderful spot to sit and relax!

7 Dwarfs known to hang out at Town Square Exposition Hall

If you look closely in Tinker Bell's Fairy Treasures (now Castle Couture) you will notice Tinker Bell flying around the store. try asking if you can "call" Tinkerbell.

Push the talking trash can", he hangs out near Buzz Lightyear at the Magic Kingdom.
While in line for Jungle Cruise, there's a cage with a fake spider in it on top of a barrel. If you put your hand infront of it the cage will move.

When you are waiting in line at the HM - right before heading into the mansion - look to the left for Madame Leota's headstone. She will open her eyes for a second. It is really creepy and usually by the time someone sees it and points it out to others her eyes are closed again.

At MK, make sure to visit the "spitting camels" in front of Aladins Magic Carpet.

Right by the entrance, on Main St., there is a Goofy statue sitting on a bench. When you sit by him he talks.

To get the most wet on Splash mountain sit at the front, to get the least wet sit at the back left side

It's just amazing, all the details they put in Haunted Mansion. How many people have not looked up in the stretch room (when it goes dark) and seen the man hanging from the ceiling with the noose around his neck?

Sit on the stone ledge on the right side of the castle, you may hear Stitch giggle and tell you to be quiet because he's hiding.

Stand directly in front of Cinderella and curtsy to her, you will see the gold crown behind her painted onto the wall go onto her head. The purpose? To explain the story of Cinderella in just one glance - rags to riches.

Sea World


Arrive around 30 minutes early for the shows, most offer pre-show entertainment.

If you don't want to get wet, stay out of the splash zones which are at the front of the stadiums. If you sit there you are likely to get very wet!

Be aware of the sun when you choose a seat in the stadiums, seats towards teh back are usually in the shade.

You will get wet on Journey to Atlantis, take a poncho, or a set of dry clothes.

You can feed the dolphins at Dolphin Cove, fish is sold at various times during the day. Its best to go in the morning! You can also feed the stingrays and seals.

Buy the souvenir cup, which can be refilled with soda or tea for $0.99, and can be filled with water for free.

Visit the Anheuser Busch Hospitality Tent for a free beer sample.
Many of the seats at the stadium shows - Key West Dolphins, Clyde and
Seamore - are not in the shade. Make sure you take a hat and wear plenty of sunscreen.

Escape the heat by heading for an indoor attraction such as the Penguin Encounter and Cirque de la Mer.

Revenge of the Mumy and MIB, hulk, and dueling dragons you are not allowed bags, but lockers are available for free (for your wait time) make sure you put bags in before you go! (lockers located outside que line)

And I work at a before and after school program! Ive been working there for 5 years now and just got promoted to a resource person starting in september which is really exciting! I actually can have two months off for summer (with pay from unemployment!) but I only got the one month this year because I decided to work at the summer camps we offer! So only one month off this year! I also get march break and 2 weeks at christmas! i love it!
