Arrived back last night after a great trip. May not have time to do a TR so will do High's & Low's first:

High's:
-Getting a room with a terrace in the Sequoia Lodge with a welcome bottle of drink & chocolate coins wishing me a Happy Birthday.

-Mostly warm weather except for a few showers on Saturday

-Seeing Fantillusion again after 7 years & the fireworks

-Friendly & helpful CM's

-My niece & nephew enjoying it most of the time (although they wouldn't go to the characters)

-Getting to do Autopia for the 1st time in 19 trips:thumbsup2

-Buying stuff for my new house

-Having another great meal in Annette's

Lows:

Not really much apart from they never cleaned under the bed properly in the room & my nephew found a blister pack with tablets in, fortunately he doesn't put stuff in his mouth & just told us what he had found.

- The crowds on Monday, after I expected the parks to be busy Sat & Sun instead.

sounds like you had a lovely birthday trip Nikki :goodvibes

You were lucky you missed the thunder storm on Friday Morning! It was awful!! last thing you need when you need an early breakfast! Saturdays down pour was horrible, we were sat putting a stake on our parade stop when we noticed the cloud, never seen so many people run that night!! Thank goodness the parade was still on after that as we got a great spot!!

As for the rooms, Disney has really gone downhill with the cleaning. I'm not even sure my sheets were changed, and we had dried up contact lenses all over the bedside tables.....we also had a very stained carpet and at one point it was thread bear, which is not like the Cheyenne at all! Next year we are staying in the Sequoia again for ease of breakfast!!

But we had a great time too, am still to write the highs and lows as I've been busy editing videos (had a video camera for the first time in 10 years so I had to shoot everything going ha ha!!) :rotfl2:

Glad you had a great trip! How lovely to have that waiting for you in the room! xx

Glad you had mostly highs and few lows!

Loved or trip in March, looking forward to a return trip someday!:confused3

Glad I missed the thunder storm on Friday, we just missed the downpour on Saturday as we had gone back to get our room & then went for a swim. By the time we went back to the park it was easing up & had stopped by the time we had walked by Cafe Mickey.

Pleased you had a lovely trip too:goodvibes

Welcome back :wave2: glad you had a great time. Your room sounds lovely, and so do your welcome treats! :goodvibes Was it in the main building or in one of the lodges?

It was in the main building, I faxed over a request to see if its possible as it was easier for when the kids were sleeping/napping we could sit outside & not wake them.

I will post some photos later:)

Welcome back! :goodvibes

Sounds like a great trip, and a great room! :thumbsup2 Can't wait to see photos.

Soooooo, what lovely bits did you get for your new house???

Glad you had a good time Nicky.

Not good about the tablets though- that could have been very dangerous - you were lucky your nephew is so good.

As Mum to belle says we need to know what you got for your house

I got some bits for the bathroom, its a beaker, soap dish & liquid soap dispenser, its the black & chrome design, I will take a photo later to show. I alos found a wall clock in the window display at the Sequoia Lodge but couldn't find it anywhere in the shops. I didn't have time to ask as we were late leaving anyway so will have to make another trip which is such a hardship;):rotfl2:

Here is a couple of photos of the terrace:

There were 6 chocolate coins but my niece, nephew & sister got to them:rotfl2: Excuse the last photo being on its side, it is showing the right way in photobucket so will have to play about with it.

Welcome home Nikki. Glad you enjoyed your trip but sounds like mousekeeping need to be more through.
Pics are lovely and that was a nice birthday touch!
Bad luck on not getting the wall clock but a fantastic excuse to book again :-)
