I'm afraid we're calling CRO too much !!!!!

Great. That is exactly what I was looking for.

So, the AP counts like a year round ticket? WOW. And then the savings on top of that... hmmm...

Another off topic question then - Is there a way to see PAST AP rates and dates? I would be willing to buy it if it would show up for us to use the first week of December.

I always knew Tinkerbelle was cool. (my kids shout out Tinkerbell when she shows up on the Disney DVD screen.)

I am not sure what the discount amounts were, but on mousesavers.com you will find a historical listing of past discounts. I believe that there are usually AP rates for early December.

This link will show you past discounts.

This link will give you a general description of the kind of discounts you may be able to get from Disney. It is a good place to start.

Hope this helps.

JMO but, occupancy seems high for late June. Many of the deluxe resorts lower priced rooms (and I'm talking RACK RATE:scared1: ) were booked months ago. We had trouble finding a AAA rate ($95 a night, no less) @ any of the Values also.

I gave up waiting for AP rate for June & booked 1/2 of trip offsite, the other @ BWV/DVC.

Was encouraged to at least find that AAA rates were available for our trip over Columbus Day week in October. I'm told there is a certain percentage of rooms that are designated AAA & when they're gone, they're gone.

Evidently, tourism in general is rebounding. Airfare is still relatively cheap (post 9/11 pricing) & w/the ME; you can eliminate other transportation costs. Lots of advertising, coupled w/free dining & people are returning in droves.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to think that AP rates will be announced 30 - 60 days out, ONLY if they need to fill up the rooms.

Someone posted elsewhere that pre 9/11 they were released on short notice.

Even if you look at the history in mousesavers, some are released only days before they start. This was the case I think in spring of 03 and even in January of this year, they were released close to when they could be used.

from mousesavers:
4/28/03-7/3/03 Annual Passholder room-only rates released 4/21/03, exp 7/3/03

I agree with the OP also, every day or even more than once or twice a week seems excessive to me. Especially when the rates for this timeframe haven't been out at this point yet historically. That said, my bigger fear is when I see people mention they have more than one ressie in place for the same time period. Since it's a given that the release of AP rates and how generous they are is likely based on booking numbers, making the resorts more booked than they actually would be can't be a big help. Beyond that, I just book where I plan on staying anyway with the hope that an AP rate will bring some savings.

I haven't seen people mention that they had more than one ressie. I remember people used to do this a lot, but I didn't think Disney still allowed it.

Hi! BRP stood for Best Rate Plan, but that has been done away with. CRO is customer relations/booking, and AP is an Annual Pass(basically unlimited admission to parks). Hope this helps! Tink
I think CRO is Central Reservations Office.

I just think travel is up in general. In mid march we tried to book a 1 BDRM at BCV with AAA for either of the last two weeks in Oct. Nothing. :confused3 Then first two weeks, nothing. :confused3 Okay, last two weeks of sept. nothing. :confused3 Okay, anything in Nov., nothing. :furious: We finally have the second week in Dec. During this time I was also asking about BWV as well. There was not much difference between the two. There was availablity at rack rate, but I truely believe that big discounts are going to be a thing of the past and I doubt I will ever see an Ap rate at the BCV like I did in 2005. :guilty:
