Like many, I've been lurking for some time, and finally decided to join in!

Great discussion board - enjoy reading posts from people like me (trying to win the battle of the bulge & always ready to go to WDW!)

Glad you decided to participate! I was in the same boat; registered and lurked but didn't take the plunge and post until a couple weeks ago. I have to tell you it has made all the difference. I have a history of starting off really strong and after a bit sliding back into my old habits. But the people on this board have really made it easy to check in daily, and I find the non judgemental attitude mixed with some accountability is great. I just signed up for a challenge, which is making me stress a little, but I know if I don't reach my goal, as long as I am working toward it I will get support for doing my best. :D

Welcome to WISH, <b>Minniemom97</b>, I'm very glad you found us and I hope you will visit often.

Are you going to be following a formal eating plan or "eating sensibly". All kinds of eating plans are represented here on WISH so whatever you choose you will have a ready made support group.

If you haven't done so already, would you do me a favor and post to our WISH Challenge thread too? I use this thread to compose our member roster and if you don't post there I might leave you out. I would hate for that to happen.

I posted to the challenge thread also.

I started Weight Watchers about 4 weeks ago and have lost 8 pounds. In addition to wanting to improve my health, I want to improve my stamina for our WDW trip in June - I know how hot & crowded it gets!

I'm glad I finally posted to this forum - everyone is SOOO supportive & knows where I'm coming from.
