I got 150 pts at riviera, closed a month ago.

I just got my blue card over the weekend, and it says expires at the end of december, is this because it's going digital?
Also, do I just show the card, when I want to get a discount, similar to annual pass, I will be in Disneyland in the last week of December (the trip was planned before I got DVC, so I am not staying at DVC for this one), so I figure I need to bring it for that?

In Jan cards go digital. Just download a new version from your dvc account Disney also say in 2022 cards will be accessible via Disney app

Agree with @nuhusky123. Everyone's physical blue card has the 12/31/2021 expiration date.

Yes, you can just show the card to get the DVC discount where offered. Many establishments offer the same % discount for annual passholders. They don't stack, though. Be prepared to show photo ID. Some will ask to see it along with your card.

I prefer to show the card over the digital version because some CMs are reluctant to accept the digital version. That should change once everyone only has the digital option.
