Illuminations SDFP

What are my chances of getting a SDFP for Illuminations late in the day on 11/26? I'm guessing not good, but just wondering. We will be arriving at EPCOT around 3:00 for a CP Dinner Package at 3:45 and would like to book some FP for after dinner, but also want to see Illuminations. Trying to decide whether or not to use my Advanced Tier 1 for Illuminations or wait and try to get it day of. And we do have an unlinked set of magic bands for SDFP, so we could make them as soon as we enter the park.

FP for IllumiNations isn't needed - there are plenty of good spots to see it from.

As PP said no need for a FP+ for Illuminations.
Use your tier 1 on something else and watch Illuminations from anywhere around the World Showcase Lagoon.

Agree that it's not needed and the location isn't any better other than maybe for getting out quicker. However, I will add that I was able on Sunday (2 days ago) to book it as a 4th FPP at 4pm so definitely may be possible.

I totally agree on the viewing for IllumiNations. We never wait. We always just walk up when it starts. Here is a video we shot recently when we just walked right up to watch the show. I hope this helps!
