I once called 6 days in a row using 6 phones with no luck. I was very disappointed. One afternoon I called back and check back on the days I would be there. I got lucky someone had cancelled. Some people try for the first day just to make sure they get one. Then they go back and try for the day they really want to go so they do get cancellations. Also try a dry run the day before you have to call so you a familiar with the phone prompts.
I enjoyed the cruise but I probably would not do it again. It was cold for December even though they gave us blankets. We brought our own dessert on board with no problem. The bridge you sit under blocks many of countries. It was nice though not to have to deal with the crowds.

Just to let everyone know the Specialty Cruise, pontoon boat for up to 12 people, price went up to $140.84 + tax and the Breathless Boat for up to 7 people $179.24 + tax, price did not change.

The lead on this subject, plus Snacky Stacky say its 2.

I'm guessing there was a change at some point...does anyone know the specifics? exactly what is this last selection doing?

Also, the 6:55 is for EST. I will be calling CST, so I'm planning a 7:55 call.
My date is for June 22, 2005, which means 90 days is March 24, 2005.

Would it work to call earlier? say... 6:55 CST, or perhaps on March 22?

ctrezek - You confused me a little with your times. If you live in CST you need to be calling at 5:55am (not 7:55am) your time so that will be 6:55am Florida time. For CST you need to call 1 hour ealier than the posted EST time. I live on the West Coast, so when I get ready to call, I will have to be calling at 3:55am my time (3 hours ealier than EST) and I am not looking forward to it, but it will be worth it if I get the cruise.

Does anyone have specific information on the Birthday Package Illuminations Cruise? Do they personal the cake, what drinks are provided, etc?

We want to do something special for my mom's birthday and thought dinner at O'hana's followed by an Illuminations Cruise would be cool.

No No dinner just about 125.00 to cruise now that is for the entire boat which holds 10 comfortable on pontoon so split one or try to find one to share by the way spoodles on boardwalk was great we did that before our cruise on dec 4th will not forget it good luck to all

Your boat will be decorated with balloons and a "Happy Birthday" Banner
You will pre-order a cake to your specs, flavor, icing, filling & personalization.
Your driver will have sodas and waters in a cooler, if you have any specific requests (all diet sodas, or more waters, be sure to call Bayside Marina a few days in advance, because most drivers will try to guesstimate what drinks are preferred).
Anything other than this would have to be arranged with WDW-PLAY or the Yacht Club Room Service Department prior to the night.

No, I would not do that. You can post the dates you are looking for and how many are in your party. If you have not reached the 90 days yet, you can call at the 90 day mark at 7am and see if you can get a cruise that way.

You may get snacks and drinks, or different levels/packages of food, for an ADDITIONAL price, and it is pricey. Better to have www.disneyflorist.com deliver something to your room earlier in the day, or the day before and then just bring it with you. You might also be interested in the WISHES cruise, which is easier to get also fun.
