Just curious.....anyone out there that booked a cruise and got there only to discover that they cancelled Illuminations because of weather??

Policy is you must cancel 24 hours before or you have to pay anyway.....anybody get a disappointment at the last minute?

I have never heard of Illuminations being cancelled because of weather. On our last trip we watched it in the POURING rain, amidst a few lightning strikes. Epcot was practically deserted, but the show went on. Illuminations is a must for me on every trip. The heavy rain actually made the laser lights more dramatic.
In May 2000, DH and I met up with several other DISers at Boardwalk and took the cruise together. You will love it!

Seems like of dangerous if they would take that boat out during a thunderstorm. Look at what happened to that poor giraffe at AK!
