:woohoo:
I just called to check for availability for a 'specialty cruise' for our trip in May. Seems someone must have cancelled their trip on the "Breathless" for May 13th, because I GOT IT! WOO HOO! :thumbsup2

Just want to clarify how the cruises work...specifically with the "Breathless".
Are you booking a BOAT for a time-period and it goes where you want or do each of the boats have it's own specific itinerary that it does nightly? (does that make sense? :confused3 )

As of now, it's just DH and I. I tried to get my mom and her DH (who live in Fla) to come with us in celebration of Mother's Day and our 1st anniversary...but looks like they're declining. That means we'll probably have space for 5 if anyone's interested.

I'm very excited. Almost excited enough to keep it just the two of us, but I feel that when it comes to WDW, the more the merrier!

Feel free to PM me (and if I can, I'll also post this on the "May" part of the cruises post) if you are interested for the 13th of May (Saturday).

That's how excited I am...didn't realize I was in the "Restaurants" forum. SORRY! LOL

LOL! i'm very excited for you!

while we have not done an illuminations cruise, we have done a wishes cruise from the contemporary dock and basically we went down to the dock at our assigned time, found our captain (well, he found us LOL) and boarded our boat... the captain then took us all around the waterways, showing us some points of interest, sometimes shining his megawatt light on various things to point them out... he had a spiel but totally not canned and answered a ton of questions from the kids and adults alike... then he took us over to the electric water parade set up where there were other boats doing the same thing, so i figured it was part of the "routine" (although he also offered to get close to any of the resorts we were interested in seeing more of... the kids chose wilderness lodge... then he "parked" the boat in the general area for viewing the fireworks... the boats were lined up pretty neatly so it's my assumption that again, this is part of the "routine" :flower:

i hope that helps answer your questions... basically it seemed they had a rough itinerary w/a specific end point (viewing area for the show) but are open to questions and requests...
