Anyone managed the 9 pm Illuminations show and then made the 10:30 Fantasmic show? We are going in August and thought it might be a good way to get both shows in.

I suppose you could do that. It seems like one might lessen the impact of the other:confused: I understand that if your WDW trips are few and far between it would make sense. Have fun:earsboy:

Yes, you can do it. DH & I did it Easter Week 2004. It was awesome and since they are 2 entirely different shows neither lessened the impact of the other. It was one of the highlights of the trip for us, just the fact that we did it! We used the walkway from International Gateway through Boardwalk, over to Disney MGM. Made it with about 10 minutes to spare, even had time for a restroom break and to get drinks. It was just the 2 of us, and we timed the trip earlier in the day from MGM to EPCOT, then corrected our mistake before heading back. The trip over we went through the YC/BC area, that was out of the way, go through Boardwalk instead. On the way back to MGM after Illuminations some guy tried to talk us into taking the boat launch, said we wouldn't make it without it, well, we beat the boat launch. And we just walked, we didn't run.

We had already seen Wishes 2 times that trip, and Fantasmic and Illuminations once each, couldn't decide which one for the last night, so we did both! Go For It! You'll be glad you did if you make it.
