Happy New Year to all Wishing you all a healthy and happy 2013. No cruises for this year (yet) but I keep looking to see if I can take advantage of the Kids Sail Free offer. So far, the dates have conflicted with.....well, life. How do they know??. Alexa is playing 2 sports simultaneously (indoor soccer and basketball) so most of our free time is taken with that. Can't complain tho.

Irene, I thought you and Sam might like to see Jared in uniform.

The first picture was when he was still at home, doing weekend Guard duty.

The second picture is him (honest, it is, even though you can't really tell it's him) at boot camp. Some of the Army wives set up a Facebook page for each new Company with pictures from boot camp at Fort Benning, so the families back home can kind of follow along.

Jared is in line for the shorter wall, he's the third from the front.

I'm not quite sure why the one (chubbier fella, who doesn't look too thrilled) is out of line, but Jared says the guys who mess up or don't give it their all make it hard on the whole group. That's the one thing that's frustrating him the most.
