Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

I never venture to the Main (cruise) Boards anymore. I am missing so much!!! :rotfl:

I seldom lurk over there anymore but I ventured over there yesterday- I happened to see Mark's 1st status on FB before he edited it to a general message about the thread in question. :thumbsup2

I understand everyone is excited about the new ships, but, it's driving me crazy that people are posting questions regarding the dream and the fantasy itineraries, booking dates, entertainment, rooms, etc - etc. Things we won't know until they are launched.

Monica I hear you. The only thing that drives me even crazier is when they do the "convince me" or "help me convince....". Be it DVC, DCL and anything else. Why can't you make up your own mind if something is right for you or not. It is fine to ask questions about likes/dislikes but it seems like these people want everyone to think for them. Don't even think about going to the Community Board...they have some real winners. :lmao:I like our little group. We all know each others quirks and can live with them.

I wanted so badly to tell him that there's no comparison between the suites on the brand new Oasis. The guy is delusional and full of lies.

I don't believe for ONE SECOND that he only paid $17k for the Walt for 10 nights on a "special" cruise. I had to just back away.

Yeah - I priced the Magic broom closet category as an option over the holidays for 4 - it was a double digit figure. 6 of us are booked on the Voyager for the same price leaving December 26, in 2 aft balconies - one is a coveted huge corner 7th deck "secret" balcony, and no airfare - granted for 7 days - but, still it's unlikely that he paid that for the Walt.

Bonus, a huge price drop and residency drop just came through a few weeks ago - shaved another $500 per stateroom off. We're into the single digits for the total fare for 6.

I lurk on the community board for the entertainment value - My favorite all time question was on Houston etiquette from someone visiting the first time from California. She wanted to know about Texas and our culture since she heard it was different from California. Did she have to wear a dress all the time? and would anyone be upset if she didn't take her hat off inside? It took all I had to close it without posting some sarcastic remark.

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: Sounds wonderful to me!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I'm going to be cruising Carnival again in the fall. The Conquest out of Galveston. Huge aft corner wrap-around balcony, and much closer to fly into. Plus, it goes to Montego Bay...and I'm finally going to Grand Cayman!

Hey, maybe you can answer this....what's Fortune 50? I've heard of Fortune 500, but not 50.

Are you coming in early? I know a fabulous place for a meal on the way to Galveston!

The Fortune 50 is a subset of the Fortune 500... the top 50...

Thanks. Why do I get the feeling that been2marceline the travel agent, has probably never come any closer to any of those companies than reading the stock exchange section of the newspaper???

That thread is still there, but B2M hasn't been back.

Flying to Houston/Hobby on Saturday Sept 25th....cruise is the 26th. I think we land in Houston at 1:30 pm....then we're staying at a Hilton near the port in Galveston. All I know is that we had a hard time finding transportation to the port. It's expensive, and there aren't a ton of companies like there are in Orlando. Since we have a town car service, I doubt they make "meal stops".....but there's plenty of time to work on that!

And by the way, it's the CONQUEST we're sailing on. Would probably help if I knew which ship!
:sad2:

The downfall of sailing out of Galveston - The few options we have are expensive. But...if you'd like, I'm sure we can coordinate schedules to get you from the airport to the hotel and back post cruise. We're really not that far from either Hobby or Galveston (and can provide Pepsi...)

WELL I have 2 horses to pick up and 2 days rest.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi GaRRy - guess who did not take a computer or check the web this weekend. Did you have fun? We did...very restful, very relaxing...more later.

What a really nice offer! This time, it's just me and my friend Sharon, not the whole family. I will have just gotten home from spending time in Omaha helping Megan with Ronan and the new baby...and will be ready to sit back and do nothing for a week.
If your offer stands, even though it isn't my family, I'll ask Sharon if she'd like to do that.

WELL I'll take the PEPSI diet that is ?????????????

I'm home had 3 hours at disney NOT the 2 days I had planned !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
got almost into the hotel room sunday before the MONSOON HIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
just missed my dear friend by hours !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gaRRy

I think you and Jay are the same as far as the Marines go. But it's worth asking about!!!

Now you have to get some R & R for a while.

Not sure about any Pepsi at all....I'm supposed to be on sabbatical from the stuff. :rolleyes1

All of the rooms that were booked through Sandie have been adjusted to the military rate. We had enough credits to cover everybody. Of course - my suite doesn't count... but everybody else should have had their rate adjusted and a refund issued.

If there are any Blabbermouths still interested - PM me - we have a couple of credits left....

:yay::yay::yay::yay:

I know I couldn't access my cruise plans earlier, so I thought she might be doing something. That's awesome!!! I wonder if she was confused with us, though. I think we had three "final payments"...:rotfl::rotfl:
