Il Pochi il Fiero y Blabbermouths...Magical Reunion FINALLY!!!

Update on Flower and Garden - posted on the Wedding Cruise Thread.

This is what we were up to last weekend. If I were bold, I would let hedgie post her version....:rotfl:

We had a great time at the Flower and Garden Festival this year. A few highlights to put you all in the mood to visit Disney...

Animal Kingdom - great as ever. We wanted to see the baby gorilla born in Feb. but Mommy was shy and protected baby from the "noisy" guests. Next time we will need to get there extra early to have a chance. One cast member said she has only seen the baby once, so it is luck of the draw.

Yak and Yeti - always a fun place to eat. Rather than tackling the rapids, we returned to Kinadi Village for the pool, slide, savanna and spa....oh, and of a course a stop at the Tiki Bar.

Sanaa has become our favourite resturant - the bread course along is yummy and that was only day 1.

Day two - after a visit to the Shrine we arrived early at Epcot and hit soaring along with a couple and a precious 5 year old girl who was so proud she was tall enough this year to ride, and she loved it. The flowers were pretty, I enjoy seeing how the Topieary's are moved to each new year's theme. Ther was so much to see, but I expect the best was the Pixie Hallow Butterfly garden. With my new camera, I have some good shots. Dinner was at Boma and alas I was disappointed. It has become too "Americanized" for my taste, although Sam says the desserts are as good as ever. We had an unusal firework display in the form of lightening and storms. All the animals on the savannas were safely back in the barns I expect. Not like us trying to run in the rain.

Day three - back to Epcot to catch the exhibits we missed. Note to self, do not let Sam re-roof the porch the week before the cruise. Three days of hot roof work do not provide for a peppy spouse. Today was better - and it was cooler - the entire Epcot area looked so green after the rain. The crowds were down so we could ride and see trolls and other adventures. And, more time at the pool and at Sanaa for dinner. Which reminds me, I need to write my cast appreciation notes.

Day four - time to check-out. We elected to walk around Downtown Disney - I actually had shopping in mind but no success. We did something we had never done before and that was a movie - we say Alice at the DD theatre.

And soon, it was time to return home.....A good trip...and relaxing.

Perhaps I shall become ambitious enough to post some pictures later in the week.

They're usually made to bolt to the frame of the truck they're installed on, but, I'm reasonably sure Jay could fab it up to attach.

Thank you. I never get a straight answer out of garRy.

I talked to Sandie this morning. The military discount was good, but the Florida resident rate is great! :thumbsup2

Virgil, it would be great if you and Sandie could figure out a way to get a Florida resident in every room. Do I get to pick who I get to share with? The Walt Suite would be nice.

Hope you are feeling better....:hippie:

Guess I should mention the whole thing here once. Am sitting here at home twiddling thumbs watching it rain, waiting for my 2mm kidney stone to pass. :confused3

The ER doc gave me two meds after the exam and CT scan.
One is Flomax, take it's name literally, take that one once a day to help get rid of the stone.
The other is called Norco, it's a mix of Acetaminophen(tylenol) and hydrocodone.

According to my regular doctor, Norco was not a great deal stronger than your over the counter pain relievers in the dosage levels I was given, and definitely not what I was given via IV in the ER. He took that one for disposal and replaced it with Oxycodone which has successfully blocked any and all pain from this, so the only discomfort I have at this point is boredom. ;)

Trust - me if the discount applied to the Suite - I'd stick Frances and Sharon in your room - and you could stay with me in the Walt! :rotfl:

You guys are starting to scare me!!!

I've been trying to contact Sandie with no luck. HELP!

Just email her - or talk to somebody else in the office...

Virgil

Vicki e-mailed once, I e-mailed twice...I called and she's on another line, waiting for her to call me back. I'd spoken to her last week about the FL Res rate, and she said she was watching for it for us.
Gathering up my patience, of which I have very little. I'll survive.

Well that just stinks. How long is it supposed to take the little bugger?
You could clean the house for Mary.....just sayin'......:rolleyes1

It's on the smaller end of the scale so it *should* move along quicker, but nobody can venture a guess.

You've just stumbled upon one of the biggest keys to our relationship, there are no 'this is a thing the man should do' or 'this is a thing the woman should do', we take on all tasks in our lives more simply based on who's better at them. :goodvibes I do most of the housecleaning already. :thumbsup2
