IGT/OGT/VGT room assignments

We just got our room assignment for our 9/29 Fantasy cruise and I'm so wowed (booked IGT and got assigned a 5a) that I'm afraid it might be a mistake.

So, has anyone booking *GT ever had their room moved/downgraded AFTER getting a room assignment?

We're probably going to be booking a category IGT as well for the Dec 1 on the fantasy. Any room is fine, but what kind of room categories are usually being assigned to an IGT? Like the previous poster asked, anyone downgraded once their room was assigned?

An IGT booking means that you have agreed to any Interior room assignment. So, you can basically be assigned any room on the ship with an IGT, but, in all likelyhood, it will be an Interior room.

There have been rare reports of people who have been upgraded being "reassigned" after they saw an assignment on line or got luggage tags. They have been few and far between.

Bottom line, if DCL can sell "your" room at full price, they'll do it and move you--since you've agreed to take any cabin on the ship.
