I asked my non-princess DD if she wanted a princess breakfast on our first trip (she was 7). She said yes b/c "it is Disney after all!" but didn't care if it was the castle. So I booked Akershus and it was perfect. Our next trip (Jan 2016) she said no princess bfast necessary. We did do 1900 Park Fare on our arrival night b/c I wanted to see the GF, had heard characters were fun and thought it would get us in the Disney Spirit. It was a great choice and she and DD (6) both enjoyed it a lot.

Re: BBB - First trip DD asked me "what's with all the girls with the sticky, pointy buns walking around?!" I explained it and she said it was weird that they all looked the same. Next year, she said, "they still haven't changed that hairstyle??" LOL. So I would say, NO, BBB is not a good fit for the non-princess ladies!
