If You Were A Disney Cast Member..

I would want be a motorcycle rider in Lights, Motors, Action. I love riding dirt bike and I would'nt have to deal with the general public.

I want to work in the Tri Circle D stables. Cleaning stalls, bathing, harnessing or driving the horses! I'd prefer to stay around the barn though---dealing with the public wouldn't be my strong suit.

Good - I was worried you were going to be competition for me for the crap guy position at the MK.

Every place of employment seems to have one job they cannot keep filled. I wonder what Disney's is?
Probably whoever has to get rid of snakes and spiders at FW Or could be worse, assistant poo checker at Animal Kingdom.

Wayne

I want to be the Landscape Designer for FW! Although this is not my true occupation, I sure would enjoy it! :thumbsup2

You want a tropical Kungaloosh Tiki Bar that stays open later than the Tavern? Done! :rotfl:

Maybe not as a Designer, but two areas of Disney that have always fascinated me is the Plant/Tree Nursery, and working with the animals at Animal Kingdom.

Larry

I want to run turtle talk with crush so I can say "Dude" all day.

Is the Plant/Tree Nursery the place that is close to the new (newish) West entrance/exit of WDW?

I want to be one of the tour guides/boat drivers on the Jungle Adventure ride in the MK! Late at night during extended hours when they can stop using their script, those guys really crack me up!

I would like to work in the barn cleaning scooping up the horse stuff bathing them I could even do the trail ride or carrige ride!

You know...taking care of the horses...you can even have little kids help you with your job! :thumbsup2  Dave had just finshed up an afternoon of work at MK (pulling the trolly down Main Street) when the CM directed my dd under the rope to help her wash Dave down. We know Dave from TCD at FW and dd was most eager to help! :thumbsup2

Or the buyer for all of the retail stores! That was my "real job" and I loved it! But it would so fun to do it for Disney!

I want to be a train engineer. Those of you who know me on the boards should not find this as a surprise. They don't have to deal with the public much and you get to drive the steam engine. Who cares if it pays minimum wage?

(I of course would have to have everything else paid off first)

That would be a cool job. I often tell FWGirl that I want to work summers at our local amusement park driving the train after I retire.

My dad has a 1/18th scale steam engine that was around our house growing up. When they sold the house and moved to the development across the street, they told him that he couldn't have it on the new location (because he was in the newspaper and they knew who he was). He still vows to put it back and build a tressel across the small part of the pond. HOA's are for the birds. Man, we used to ride that train all day long. Now, we go down to Ft. Lauderdale to ride. They have model live steam meets once a month. My son loves it.

I have wanted to be an Imagineer since I was about 12, when I saw an ad in Model Railroader magazine saying Disney was looking for artists, architects and model makers. It's always been my dream job... but that doesn't really fit the question, does it?

My favorite position on-property would probably be a VIP tour guide. I saw these guys on a Travel channel show (Disney Royal Treatment, I think). They escort folks around, get them prime seats, order their days to see everything they want.

That, or, to be a chaplain at the Grand Floridian. You spend your days as an integral part of couple's most important day of their life. And with the cost of a Disney wedding, the tip for the chaplain is probably pretty nice. And, every wedding I've ever been to, the preacher was invited to the reception. Open bar, premium food. Sounds good!

You all know I want to be the Fairy Godmother.....but that's later. Right now, I'd love to be a Princess or a Fairy.....Hey, I can dream, right? Or a concierge. I know people would complain a lot, but I think I could handle it...I listen to my kids complain all the time!
