If You Refer Someone and They Buy.....

Hi!
We referred a friend to DVC and they did buy at BLT. Where on the DVC site will we see this to redeem the reward, and about how long after the deed is recorded will it take to show? Thanks!

They have to give your name and information BEFORE they buy. If they did that you will not see anything on the DVC site.

I get a letter from my guide thanking me for getting someone to join DVC. Then you get something from DVC asking how to want your reward...towards your annual dues, Disney Gift card etc. Then after all of that it probably took 4-6 weeks to get my actual $200.00 Disney Gift Card in the mail (well actually it came FedEx or UPS and I had to sign for it).

If they did not give your name before they bought...I am sorry to say you will get nothing.

It also depends on where you live. Quite a few states prohibit referral rewards like this for timeshare referrals. Your guide will be able to tell you whether your state allows rewards.

We referred someone a few weeks ago and got the first letter about two weeks later. Still waiting for our opportunity to pick a thank you gift.
