...what three things would be on your "must do/see" list? We know that this trip is going to be our last trip for quite a while (we hope to go back in 2015, but we'll see when that time comes) and we have so many things we are trying to squeeze in- so what would be on your list?

Top of my list is a "Don't do".

Don't go with extended family. ;)

A must see (saw it for the first time this past week and was amazed) for me would be to see Sprectromagic. A must do would be to take time to take in the small details that add so much to the overall magic.

explore the WS. I always go with family and never get to explore as much as i'd like to.

ride up front in the monorail and take it in.

enjoy the details

That's what i would do

NC Beast's FIL mentioned that his top choices for his next WDW trip would be going to eat at Les Chefs de France, going on Soarin', and the safari. I told him that we would get him an ecv (he is going through cancer treatments), but he says that is for old people (hello---you are 72 not even mentioning the various health issues).

My top 3 would be Everest, Thunder Mountain, and the safari ride.

Eat at the Contemporary at night and then watch wishes!

Why aren't you going back until 2015? :scared1:

Our January trip is going to be our last trip until 2011, because of the baby coming in May and that we're going on a Disney Cruise in 2010. It's also our last trip as a couple w/o a child, well, at least without a child outside of my body! So, some things we want to do:
*Take our time going through the WS and absorb the atmosphere and shows.
*Eat at our favorite TS places (Boma, Jiko, Cal Grill)
*Sleep late :)
*People watch - I like to see what crazy footwear that some women wear to the park - high heels??! Really now...
*Wishes Fireworks cruise

Just slow down and take it all in, so that we have lots of memories to hold us over for the next couple years.

#1 Illuminations
#2 Le Cellier
#3 Take in the whole trip at my own pace, and pay attention to all the details

Wow that is difficult. But my choices. Enjoy epcot and take in as much as possible. Ride the monorail and stop at each of its resorts for a brief visit.
Third go to the Magic Kingdom and time it so you are their when the park closes and try to be some of the last to leave and savor the moment.

We dont go to WDW all that often (so each time we think it's the last time). I would make sure I saw: Illuminations, Wishes, Kilimanjaro Safari, Legend of the Lion King, all of World Showcase at Epcot (walking around at night), and any of the new rides & attractions I haven't experienced yet.

Wow - I only get three. I guess they would be:

1) Spend more time in AK. I always treat it as a half day park and assume I will get back to explore it later in my trip. Then later in my trip I say we'll explore it next time down.

2) Enjoy all my favorite restaurants and try some of those I have been waiting to do. I love Boma, Kona Cafe, bluezoo, and Narcoosee's to name four (ok - cali grill deserves to be on the list, as does citrico's, jiko, columbia harbour house, crystal palace, DATW anywhere, biergarten, oh wait - how long is this last trip??:rotfl: )

3) Make sure my last night was incredibly memorable. Would have to be at Magic Kingdom, would have to include Wishes and Spectromagic, and would end with a ride on the TTA if possible (yes - weird last ride tradition -sorry).

If I could add a fourth, I'd buy DVC. That would ensure I'd be back at least once every three years and would be in a rockin three bedroom villa if I let that many points build up!!!:lmao:

Blizzard Beach

Summer Winter Wonderland (putt-putt)

I'd spend a day visiting each of the Disney resorts and just walking around them inside and out, especially the deluxe resorts, they are so detailed!

1. Sit on the beact at the Polly to watch a sun rise / sun set.

2. Be the one of the last ones out of Magic Kingdom and savour the moment.

3. Savour everything and take lots of photo's.

1. Soarin'

2. Illuminations

3. Expedition Everest

Shh don't tell my parents, but we want to have a baby! We know that once that happens and I cut my hours back at work etc., we won't be able to afford WDW. We got lucky this time and someone gave us their DVC points for free and we used credit cards reward points for our flight  Hopefully we'll be able to squeeze in a day or two at Disneyland before then or I don't know if I'll make it!

But just like Iggipolka- this is our last trip as a couple too (hopefully). I love that everyone mentioned to slow down and take in all the details- that is what I keep telling my husband, but I created a monster now and he thinks we have to run everywhere to see everything in time! And I love the idea of staying in the Magic Kingdom till closing- they might have to drag me out!

It is an incredible feeling to be in a nearly empty MK at night.

For me, I would
A) stay concierge at AKL and go on the sunrise safari
B) Dinner at vic and A's
C) wishes fireworks cruise

Of course that will cost a pretty penny, so if you're looking at must do things:
1) Hoop De Doo. It's a classic, the food is great, and if you haven't done it before, it's a great way to make new memories
2) I would ride EE as much as I can! I LOVE that ride
3)throw in something from above and/or do stuff outside the parks like mini-golf.

I planned my trip last xmas as my last trip for a year and ended up going back 2 more times in the last year! Go figure:lmao:

I always take it as a given that if you go to WDW, you see fantasmic, spectro, wishes, and illuminations. Maybe that's just me :rolleyes1
