If you have avoided EMH per the unofficial guide how was your experience???

Normally, in the past we have always done early entry. But then I bought the unofficial guide.

So this year we are going to try following that advice - kind of scares me though. The EMH's we have done have always been a good way to slam a few good rides out before the crowds hit. But I admit by 11am in an EMH park it starts getting super crowded which starts to wear into wait times. Granted you can get around that using fast pass for a while, but then by noonish to 2ish even fast pass return times start getting very extended. SO...

For those of you that have done the avoid the EMH park advice ... how well does it work for you? Or did you try it once and then decide to go back to using EMH ? Or were you an EMH person who did the "NON EMH park" advice and now you will no longer use EMH because you tried the non EMH park advice and it worked well?

I think this depends on when you go. If you are going during a very busy time- like Spring Break, Christmas, Thanksgiving- I would definitely use EMH and then park hop later in the day. That is what we did when we took a couple of trips during Thanksgiving week. We went the first week of Dec. this past year and only did EE once- and yep, it was the most crowded park of the trip for us. We didn't necessarily avoid EE on purpose- our trip was planned around CRT of course , but it worked out well and we were glad. This was a slow season and the lines were very short- but the longest ones we experienced were at the MK the day it had EE. So, if you're going during a busy time- definitely use EE, may be the shortest lines of your trip!!! But, if you're going during a 'slow' time, you might want to avoid EE or park hop after EE.
