If You Have a Disney Visa......

slightly off topic....just curious... has anyone seen their interest rate go up with the chase disney card? I have been hearing that chase has risen the rate on a lot of their cards. I haven't gotten a notice yet about it for my disney card yet. Just wondering if it's coming. I rarely keep a balance but I am considering something that I will not pay off right away...

I'm going to have to call to get the DVC line too...

I just got the runaround too. I called Chase and they said I need to call DVC, called DVC and they said they had no idea what I was talking about.:confused3 :rolleyes1:headache:

I will try to e-mail Chase and see if that works.

I contacted Chase the other day for my current card and they told me that they can't add that

So, I applied for a new card through the DVC member's website. Not only will I get a $100 GC after first use, but got my Disney Vacation Club printed on the new card. I will start to use that one and "retire" my old one!

I didn't get notice of it, but it is higher, according to my statement online than it was 6 months ago. Instead of 8.5%, it is now up to either 9.75 or 10.00%. I don't carry a balance so it is no big deal right now, but if something happened and I needed to, it is disappointing that it is up.

My interest rate will go from 9.99 to 14.99 as of march 1st. Not sure exactly why. Nothing has really changed for me elsewhere creditwise. I called and complained they said blah blah economy if you don't like it you can cancel. We usually don't carry a balance and my fico score is 765. (I was never late etc.) If you have this card you may want to check your fine print. It may have changed.

the same thing happened to me. called chase, can't do it. they told me to dvc. i emailed dvc, they told me to contact chase. so i logged into my account online, sent a message to them via email, got a response back within 1 day saying: "we are pleased to inform you that we will add "disney vacation member" and mail out your new cards. you should see them in 5-7 days. have a magical day".
so i don't know if I just talked to someone who didn't know what was going on or what, but we are getting new ones with the castle on them. our current card is retired, so we had to choose a different design.

The kids love when ever anybody comments on us being DVC members. They love answering questions people may ask.

Make payments online before they are due. Even better, before the statement is sent.

My rate is now 7.74% :thumbsup2

we requested new cards to say "Disney Vacation Club" under our name and we just received them:banana: :cool1:

DH applied for the card through the link on the DVC website so he could get the $100 gift card. His credit card came in the mail yesterday and it says "Disney Vacation Club" under his name. He thought that was VERY cool. My Chase Disney Visa is from before we bought DVC, so my card doesn't have it.

Not a problem, just email chase, thru your online account, and tell them you want it put on there and to send you a new one. I did that a couple of weeks ago and we received our replacement cards in the mail last week. It is very cool to see on there:thumbsup2 . We already had someone ask us what it was when we used it at a restaurant.
