If you had to choose only one CS and one sit-down restaurant, which would you choose?

We'll be doing mostly counter dining, but we do want to do a sit-down. I have no idea what to choose, so I'm hoping to get some great suggestions from this thread!

Table Service- Ohana!

Counter- I guess Cosmic Ray's- although not the BEST, we can always find something there for everyone.

Table Service - Jiko (Well actually Victoria & Albert's, but it's not the best example)

Counter Service - Wolfgang Puck Express

One CS would be Mara (loved their chicken caesar, the chicken was delicious) and TS, gosh, that is REALLY hard, we have so many that we love, Jiko, Yak and Yeti, Ohana's and Cape May breakfasts. It would be one of those 4 (sorry that's not one), we would decide out of those, depending on which park visiting/resort we were staying at.

CS: flame tree in animal kingdom - tAste chicken and BBQ. Also Pinnochio house in fantasy land in MK.
TS: Le cellier in epcot and Crystal Palace for character meal (dinner with pooh and friends) in MK.

TS: CRT (but we're trying Chef Mickey's & Le Cellier next trip and we've never tried either before)

CS: um....Pecos Bill's probably

(Snack-- Dole Whip!!)

CS: Flame Tree BBQ
TS: Kona Cafe (at the Poly)

We've eaten at Flame Tree 3 times, always good. Kona Cafe twice, both times excellent.

I'd choose Biergarten for a TS.
The only CS we had was at our food court. It was good and convenient which was all we cared about.

Any of the Signature restaurants are fine for a sit down meal. Aside from V&A, I would pick California Grill.

I second what Uncle R says. And, if you can't get CG, Jiko is great, too. In general, I've come to the conclusion that none of the 1TS restaurants is worth the price these days. They've declined so far in quality and overall experience since the advent of the DDP that they simply aren't worth the bother. So, we only go to the 2TS restaurants.

As for counter service, we like Peco Bill's in Frontierland. The pulled pork sandwich is pretty good, and the fixing's bar sauteed mushrooms are good. It's CS with a bit of pizzaz. Also, the room is large and it seems less crowded and insane than Cosmic Ray's (although we also try to stop in at off times).

We also like Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD for a CS meal, if you happen to be at DTD.

We avoid Cosmic Rays at all costs. It is terribly crowded, noisy and unpleasant. The BBQ ribs are of exceedingly poor quality -- all fat and no meat (and not even juicy tasty fat at that). The chocolate cake dessert is just . . . . gross.

CS: WPE
TS: Boma or Spoodles

TS -breakfast- BOMA
dinner - 'Ohana

CS -Sunshine seasons at The Land in Epcot

CS - Columbia Harbor House in MK or Flame Tree in AK (Fish & Chips in England in EPCOT)

TS - Le Cellier...without a doubt!! We had the most INCREDIBLE meal there. The filet mignon was to DIE FOR!! Biergarten is also awesome!! At MK, it HAS to be Cinderella's Castle...loved that dinner too!!
