If you had 3 different days at MK, how would you plan?

Hi All, I wondered if you would provide your thoughts on how best to plan our MK park strategy for our trip Wed 10/7 - Sun 10/18;
1 Day Rope Drop - EMH
1 Day MNSSHP
Last Day afternoon to evening
  • Our RD day is a 3 level day and last day (Sat) is a 6.
  • Likely MNSSHP on a weeknight

My 7 year old daughter loves the characters and my 9 year old son is all about the rides (my daughter won't do Space Mountain and HH).

On the Rope Drop day I would like to do a sit down lunch although our favorite LTT is closed: (

I figure for the first day FP+ we will do A&E for daughter, Space Mountain for son, SDMT for both and one other. I would like to somehow do things by land, the last 2 times we went we split up a lot and trekked back and forth around the park. We have never done Peter Pan so I am thinking we could try to RD this? Perhaps Fantasy Land and Tomorrowland and possibly half or whole of another? How would you suggest planning my FP+? For midmorning?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Kim

I think spending your first day doing Fantasyland and Tomorrowland sounds like a good idea. You could potentially FP Buzz, Enchanted Tales with Belle, or Little Mermaid, or if you were ambitious about walking, Splash Mtn or Space Mtn. Peter Pan has a new queue which is supposed to be fun to go through, so early in the morning should work for that. If the park opens at 9, I would start my FP around 11-11:30, working around your lunch and what time you can get a FP for A&E. Have you done lunch at BOG before? My family enjoyed that.

Assuming you are not going to another park before MSNSSHP (?) you can book 3 FP between 3:30 and 6:30 on your party day also, which gives you more options (maybe Splash and BTMRR if you're not afraid of getting wet in costume). We rode Pirates and Jungle Cruise after the 2nd parade when we went to the Christmas party with no lines at all. Lots of characters to meet during the party! You may want to line up early for them, some start lining up at 5:30!

Are you going to a park your Saturday before you go to MK? Not sure what FP would be left if you had to wait until you arrived, if I had 3 days I would hit my favorites again, like Space and/or SDMT. Assuming you have already seen Wishes, the ride lines should be shorter then.

Have fun planning!

I plan on attending 3 days at MK as well.

First day I am going to spend the morning and afternoon there to catch the parade.
Second day I will MK early and enjoy until lunch, and then back again at night.
Third day will be an early day with lunch at BOG, then I head home (boohoo)

Is it possible to Rope Drop twice? I am not sure what the other rope drops you have planned. However perhaps one RD could be transferred to MK?
