If you dis from your blackberry

How do you do it? I put my skin to discreet so I'm not spending so much time loading pictures and smilies, but some boards override it. What else can I do?

I use Opera instead of the BB browser. Nothing will be lightening fast but when I'm looking at the DIS Opera is better. But I will say that I just got a Curve 8530 and that browser is better than my old 8330 so they're getting there.

Yes. Opera Mini is a browser for your BB. I much prefer it.

I downloaded Opera and it is better than the BB browser. Not perfect or free from flaws, but better. Thanks!

Unfortunately the one major flaw with BBs is that they are so locked down even for the general consumer (there is minimal hacks for BBs, thus why governments love them) that there is no way to change the default browser, so if you click a hyperlink in a message or similar, the BB Browser will open.

As others have pointed out Opera is the browse of choice for most people with BBs for daily surfing, and make sure you're running the newest version (I think it's 5).

I have a Curve 8330 and the Dis smileys don't load when using the browser. I use the factory settings so it may be different on the other versions.
