If you could stay at any resort.

Hmmm... I am torn between AKl Concierge and the Poly. Poly because of location and services of course, but AKL because of how gorgeous it is. Hence my planning now for a trip to AKL in two years or so! Save those pennies!! hehe

Thanks so much for all the input. Money is an object that is why we were going to stick with a moderate. I had a friend stay at the CBR and said she really liked it out of the moderate resorts. I need to book soon and just can't make a decision.

I am in the process of deciding which resort to stay at in the Moderate Category. I have 3 children ages 1, 5 and 7. I am trying to decide between the CBR and the POR. I like the atmosphere of the CBR, although this is only by seeing photos since I have never been before. I am very close to booking the CBR for February. Someone please help me decide? Also, can you get to DTD from the CBR? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks. :flower:

I stayed at POR once and will be staying at CBR this August. CBR appears to be the most spread out. That seems to be the biggest complaint from people who don't like the resort. That might be hard with small kids unless you get a room with a preferred location. POFQ is the most compact of the moderate resorts and consistently gets good reviews on this site. POFQ and POR have the boat directly to DTD. I really liked POR. I can't say anything bad about it. I am trying CBR just to try something new.

If you want more info look for safetymom's CBR FAQ and pictures. Also, go to allearsnet.com to look at those pictures. I also find the tripadvisor.com is extremely helpful when deciding where to stay. There are pages and pages of reviews on all the disney properties. Good luck!

I've got one in each category. Deluxe would definately be the Polynesian. Ever since I was younger, it's been my dream to stay there. I love the atmosphere and always try to get to the beach around 9pm to catch the Electrical Water Parade at least once on each trip.

For moderates, it would be Port Orleans-Riverside (wasn't that Dixie Landings before?). We stayed there a couple years ago and it was wonderful.

But, since I'd rather have more money to spend in the parks on souvenirs, I stay at the Value resorts. Besides, I don't like spending a lot of money for just a place to sleep, as my trips are usually shorter rather than longer and I find that I don't spend a lot of time at the resort. This year it's POP, and I've never stayed there before. I'm anxious to experience this resort, as I've experienced all 3 of the All Star's.

That's a long answer for a short question. Sorry!
