Would you switch agents?? We really want the dining but will lose our room discount if we stay with our current agent. I feel really bad since she is so great and always answers all our questions!! I don't get why Disney won't let you have the room discount and dining if you don't use AAA. I know 240.00 isn't a million dollars but it could pay for an upgrade or rental car. I hope we don't live to regret our choice to switch!!

Yes, Right now I have a AAA rate for room only with a regular agent. We would like the dining plan but in order to keep the AAA room discount and get dining you must book with AAA. The difference is about 240.00 less.

So that puts you $240 closer to your next Disney vacation? I'd explain the situation, thank the travel agent and express your appreciation for all that has been done, and move along with my hard earned $240.00 - without batting a lash!

I say switch...I know that you don't want to 'hurt anyone's feelings', but you have to think about it this way: It's YOUR vacation and its YOUR hard earned money. Plus $240 can go a long way in WDW!

I am a completely guilt ridden person and even I would not hesitate to apologize and explain the situation. Try not to feel bad and think about the practical aspect of the situattion.

Thank you for helping me feel a little less guilty about the situation. I am always worring about upsetting other people. I sent her a nice email explaining the situation. We will definatley be planning more trips so I am hoping to use them again in the future. I hope it all works out!

Not only would you be saving the money. . . but you'd save more on top of that once you compare the dining plan vs. out of pocket expenses.

If you feel bad, sincerely apologize and let the agent know that she is the first person you'll think of for future plans and you'll pass her name along to friends and family that plan in the future as well.
