If you could pick any resort...

There are alot of votes for the Poly.... I wouldn't say I'm surprised that much, but I am surprised I didn't see any votes for AKL.

I always sort of overlooked the Poly because of the food choices. That's why I like trhe Vale and Moderate so much. I love the food courts.

If I had to pick a Deluxe I like the WL, but I have never stayted at a Deluxe Resort before so that's just by looks and location.

I made my decision based on the two deluxes we've stayed at and eaten at (I don't count "location" because we rent a car so the location means nothing to us). We are staying at the AKL for a few days in September before going back to our moderate, so it may well take over the Poly (and we do like the food court at the AKL).

I've been thinking about this a lot lately...(I can dream right?).

If money truly were no object, and I had younger kids, I would stay at the Grand Floridian. I would want somewhere by Magic Kingdom. The Polynesian doesn't appeal to me really, I don't know why. The Contemporary would be neat but if it's between Grand Floridian and the Contemporary, I'd pick Grand Floridian because it's newer and more 'classic' I guess.

If I had older kids, I'd pick the Beach Club. I like the location, theming, and it has a really neat pool.

I'm kind of dumb when it comes to the Boardwalk... Are you referring to the resort or the hotels that are along the Boardwalk?

Actually the Boardwalk includes restaurants, shopping, entertainment and two resorts.

Boardwalk Inn and Boardwalk Villas which is a Disney Vacation Club resort. :)

My favorites are the Grand Floridian and the Yacht Club, then the Boardwalk Inn.

I would love to stay at BLT:love:. They had no availability for our upcoming dates with the discount:sad1:

Grand Floridian! We stayed there for only 3 nights but that place wowed me...I loved everything about it and that's the way you should feel after a holiday.

I'm going to say BLT with a MK view. Poly comes in as a close second though! I just enjoy being in a villa and having that full kitchen I guess. Other than that it's so close to MK and having that Monorail access is a big perk!

For me it would probably be Poly, although I've never stayed there. Every time I walk in there, I just feel like it's so relaxing and nice. Plus with it being on the monorail, that is even better. That, or CR with MK view. I've stayed at CR, and I loved it being on the monorail, and being able to walk to MK (my favorite park!!), but I'm not sure I'd stay again unless I could have a theme park view!

It would really depend on the time of year. Basically if it was durring F&W it would have to be BWI due to the walking distance to EPCOT, Flying Fish and Jellyrolls. We would have stayed there this year but my girlfriend wanted to stay at AKL.

Most other times of the year it would be CR with a TPV. I stayed there on my very first trip when I was 4 and every time we go to CM or CG the smell and feel of everything is very nostalgic to me.:goodvibes

We LOVED both of our Poly CL stays and would love to stay again. If price wasn't a consideration I'd love to try GF TPV RPC but I can't bring myself to pay that kind of price even with a discount, especially when we know just how much we love Poly CL. Can't beat the transportation (monorail or boat to MK, walk to TTC for monorail to Epcot, walk to TTC for dedicated busses to DHS, AK or DTD), the view (love watching Wishes from the beach, pool and CL lounge; we've never paid for TPV though I wouldn't turn down an upgrade since I'd love to sit at my patio and watch my kids play on the beach) and the food (CL chef Kim is the best and I love 'Ohana, Kona, Kona Island Sushi Bar and Captain Cook's). Can't beat that.

OK, now I need to remind myself why we're trying YC for our upcoming trip. I'm missing Poly already. Oh yeah, our deal wasn't available for Poly. LOL I know we'll enjoy YC too. I'm looking forward to trying all those great dining options around Crescent Lake as well as taking an Epcot-centric vacation with an extra hop into DHS for Fantasmic!. Also really looking forward to SAB.

I am lucky enough to go the week after Thanksgiving and everything is decorated for Christmas.

While my favorite decorated resorts are GF and WL, I am falling more and more in love with the Boardwalk Inn every year. :lovestruc

I would stay at either the Walt Disney or Roy O Disney suite at the Grand Floridian.

With the platinum plan as well. :thumbsup2

You did say money was not a consideration right? :lmao:

My Top 5 Resorts include in no special order:

Wilderness Lodge- This resort is soooo beautiful!!!!! I love how relaxing and secluded it is. It also is conveinent to be able to take the boat to magic kingdom and not have to go back and forth. The boats are also nice when going over to the contemporary and/or fort wilderness as well. I love the fact that the rooms, restaraunts, lobby, and shopping are all with in the same building so when it is raining and/or really hot and humid you don't have to spend a lot of time outside.

Yacht and Beach Club- This resort has an AMAZING location!!!!! You could easily walk into EPCOT and you have your own entrance which isn't as crowded as the main park entrance since less people can use it in the first place. I love the fact that you can also simply just walk on over to the boardwalk as well. Having the boat to take over to epcot, the swan and dolphin, boardwalk and disney studios is nice 2!!!!!!! The pool here also looks AMAZING!!!! I would love to be allowed to swim in it someday. also the resorts shares amenities with each other so you get a more relaxed atmosphere and a fancier atmosphere all rolled into one.

Polynesian- This resort also has AMAZING location!!!!! I love the fact that it is on the monorail!!!! That makes it easier to travel to both MK and Epcot!!!!! I also love the shopping and themeing at this resort as well. I also enjoy the fact that you can walk over to the grand floridian with such ease as well. also the volcano pool looks AMAZING as well. The whole resort is just BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!

Grand Floridian- I love the whole elegance of this resort. everything from the lobby to the sandy beaches is simply goregous!!!!!! I just being in the lobby and taking pictures of everything in there. The gift shop is really nice as well!!!!!! I also love how it is just a monorail ride away from both the magic kingdom and epcot and it saves alot of time going to and from both of them. I also think the pool is pretty and I love all the amenities the resort has.

Carribbean Beach- Even though this one is a moderate resort I still love it!!!! I love the little hammock are and I like to make it a point to just sit there and watch illuminations or read there if I stay there. I also love the whole old port royale pool and how they are beginning to incorporate the pirates of the carribbean movie in there as well. I like how bightly colored it is as well.

would have to say the poly club level mk view did it last oct and it was by far the best resort ive stayed at
