If you could only do one character meal...

I asked my 17 year old son this for our second trip. We did all but two on our first trip. I almost fell over when he said his favorite was breakfast at the Castle. Go figure. I would say ask the kids who the really want to see when they go to Disney, then go from there. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

actually we've been to pretty much all of them and my fav so far is the Alice 1900 breakfast.......:)

My favorite so far is dinner at LTT :thumbsup2 But you will get alot of different views on this one. I picked LTT because I'm not a buffet fan and I'm not a big breakfast person either. I hope this helps. ;)

We love 3 that we've been to and plan to go back often. Crystal Palace for dinner (we haven't done breakfast yet, but have heard it's great too). Love the food, the atmosphere and the Pooh! LTT we ate for dinner and loved the food and the characters here too. Donald's Breakfastosaurus is the one we do on every trip right now. You will hear LOTS of bad reviews on here, but it's our favorite for breakfast. It has lots of varieties of foods that DH and I both like, and great characters and theming(I love dinosaurs!).

Crystal Palace Lunch. It is a great little break from the park.

We've done 1900 Park Fare, CP, & CM...all dinners.

We enjoyed them all but if I had to only pick one it would be...Chef Mickey's!

We always eat there twice each trip.

no matter which you chose i always advise "breakfast" if you have youngsters because later in the day they are usually bushed and you lose some of the magic :tink:

Wow, I'm surprised by all the LTT responses, we went in February and I was incredibly underwhelmed by the food and the character interaction. Guess it goes to show you ...different strokes :goodvibes

We have done CP dinner twice, and O'hana breakfast...we loved both, but are looking to try someplace else in June and August. Hopefully MGM will get their act together by then

Keep the suggestions coming...

If I could only do one it would be Chef Mickey's for Dinner. Loads of fun.
If I were on a tight budget, I would do the latest breakfast seating.

We have been to just about all of them and we like CP for breakfast. Going into the park before it opens for some great Magic Kingdom photos less the crowds is GREAT. The food is yummy...deep fried puffed french toast, cheesy potatoes...sooo good! :thumbsup2

I agree about the break from the park...especially on a hot day.

If you are on a tight budget do breakfast or lunch at CP. Breakfast cuts into prime touring time though (shorter lines) so we try to do a late lunch or early dinner.

As for favorite, it really depends on what your favorite characters are. Food isn't much different at any of the places.

For me, I would pick Cape May Cafe breakfast. The food there is really good. But Crystal Palace breakfast comes in a close second. Again for the food and the atmosphere is nice here too.

My DD11 said her only "must do" on our next trip was Chef Mickeys breakfast.

Well, for us this trip will be the first with only one. I gave the kids free rein on this one and they tied it with Crystal Palace for lunch or dinner and Breakfastasaurus for Breakfast. Once I decided where it would fit, it became dinner at CP. My kids have been to each character meal at least once (except Cape May for Breakfast) and they let me know that they were tired of the same characters. Unless there is new a reason to go they didn't see the point of doing them every time (I'm a little disappointed but I see their point--and maybe after a break they will change their mind).
If something changes between now and July then I may alter the ADR's otherwise Crystal Palace is the only one we'll be doing.
