Probably around Charlottesville, Virginia.
* College town with lots of arts and sports to see.
* 3 hours to Va. Beach and 5 hours to the Outer Banks of NC
* Most relatives would be 6 hours away by car.
* Close to a couple of Interstates to take me anywhere
* Blue Ridge Mountains.
* I think a $100,000 could go pretty far.
I'll look for John Boy the next time I'm down there. Where I live right now is fine for now, but the 16 hour drive to WDW is no fun.
Originally posted by tastelikecandy I like Orange Beach Alabama. You still get to enjoy the beautiful white sand and blue green water that comes from Perdido Key Florida being on the border but you don't have to deal with all the partying teenagers all the time. It is quiet, relaxing, and beautiful. I would love to move there and raise my children.
Try to keep it down home cuz. Once word gets out I'll be bombarded!
I will never live anywhere else! I guess if money was no object and we expanded this debate to include anywhere, I'd say Dublin, Ireland.
