Has anyone been to Belize????? Your thoughts, please.

I started planning a trip to Ireland, Bed & Breakfast, castles, and sight seeing, but after talking to many people, they kinda talked me out of it.

They all said, that no matter what month you pick to go, it will be cold and raining.

Not my kind of anniversary, maybe I'm just so darn sick of this winter and all that snow, that I want sun.

So has anyone be to Belize?????

I would love to go to Bora Bora, but it's would be such a long flight for us. We are on the east coast.

Dh spent a week in Ireland. He started out at a spa that was a B&B . said it helped the jetlag. Was a relaxing vacation driving to the different sites. Very little rain. Was there to run the Dublin marathon. I think it was in the fall.

Europe, tour of France, Germany, Italy, and England if there is unlimited time and money. It's on our bucket list!

DH and I just got back from Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. We liked it so much we booked again for next year. We both decided it was one of the best vacations we've ever done.

Another favorite was Young Island (www.youngisland.com). It's a private island off the coast of St. Vincent.

We've been to Belize numerous times on a cruise ship stop and went back for ten days one year. We stayed 5 days on the beach at Turtle Inn and the other 5 days inland at the Jaguar Paw Resort (which is now closed). Belize is one of our favorite destinations. We love the people there! We went in April and the weather was great.

I went to Belize this past October with 5 other women (family) for our annual girls trip. (actually Ambergris Caye, an island off Belize). We loved it! Some went snorkeling one day, and another day we all took a boat to the mainland for ziplining (decided against cave tubing). Mostly we just relaxed at our condo pool and explored the town (definitely rent a golf cart to get around) - and ate & drank! Had a massage on the beach and loved it so much we scheduled another one 2 days later Don't miss the "Chicken Drop"! October was a great time to go, crowdwise - but it was HOT!!! And I'm from Alabama so I'm used to hot Would definitely recommend it!
