GLO, I'm sure that she'll do very well .

In the "old days", before antibiotics, these types of infections were quite common. Pediatricians saw mastoiditis all of the time; in fact, mastoidectomies were routinely performed on a regular basis without serious sequelae. She should respond pretty rapidly to an I.V. regimen. Please keep us posted.........the Pixie Dust which I was "saving" for the RED SOX will now be showered upon your lovely daughter .....
