A good friend, Janice, passed away about 12 years ago. In a dream, I saw in in a red nightgown with white flowers telling me she was OK and not to worry about her anymore.
A few weeks later I met a mutual friend, Lisa. Lisa and I had not spoken since before I had that dream. Lisa started to tell me she had a dream about Janice. My first question was "What was she wearing?" And guess what Lisa told me -- a red nightgown with white flowers.
I guess Janice was making the rounds that night just to let us know she was OK.

I just wish I understood it better...like why some do and some don't, how, when is this possible...etc There's obviously more to it that we just don't "get".

I firmly believe there is more to it than we know. You're not the only one who wishes and wonders why they haven't had a "sign". For what it's worth, I've never had anything on my own. Just that encounter at the John Edward seminar.
Then one day while I was happily baking along I looked out the window and saw a Blue Jay, it was the weirdest thing because we just sat there kind of froze starring at each other (I know I'm talking about a bird here). I think that I got that it was my Mom or made me think of her anyway and I just started crying when she flew away. And that was the end of my baking career, never again, can't stand it. I know it's too weird but I'm pretty sure it was her spirit baking through me, I don't know if she wasn't ready to leave yet or just thought she would try one more time to light a passion for baking in me, but I know it was her.
