get there early! Just came back from a visit from June 6th until the 10th, and we tried multiple times to have our little girls meet Princess Tiana and the line up each and every time would be closed by the time we tried to join. We even tried showing up a few times half an hour before they were scheduled to appear, and the lineup would already be full and closed.
If this is a must do on your next trip, then the best thing would be to plan to try and make it for one of the first 2 scheduled appearances, and to get there well before they are suppose to come out. Good Luck!

If you mean the MK Liberty Square location behind the Christmas shop...they do seem to have shortened the sessions a bit - actually at many of the meet and greets outdoors. Mostly because it's been nasty, brutal hot - so the CMs start looking sweaty and nasty pretty quickly in those heavy costumes. So unfortunately I'm thinking a few people are going to miss out in line. You're probably right - best to stake out the spot long before if it's really important to you.

Funny side story...that meet and greet location has been mine for 20+ years, and they took it away from me for that meet and greet! I've been going to that spot on park visits for decades for a place to sit with a drink and chill in the shade for a bit, especially when hot. I was disappointed to see that meet and greet in my favorite MK spot. I was up there Jun 3-7 this year, and decided to still take a break there as it was awful hot...I jumped up on the rock wall and chilled out right where the 'exit' gate is for the meet and greet. That actually gave me a pretty good spot to catch a nice shot of Tiana and Naveen on the way in to the meet and greet:

Of course, I didn't need to get any shots with the kiddies standing with them - but i suppose you could guerilla-tactic them and throw your kids in front of them and shoot before they get in the gate! (joke)

Have your kids take a picture in the same spot as them, so the lighting and shadows stays consistent. Then photoshop them in.

I'll second this! I didn't realize how lucky we were until later in the day. We had joined the line for their first or second appearance quite early and got to meet them no problem, delighting our Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boutique'd daughters to no end. Every time we went back near that area that day, the lines were bananas. Should have known when they set up line ropes and compressed our line early!

The character handler told us when the next time was, but to arrive 30-45 minutes early. We arrived 50 minutes early, and were the 6th in line. By 30 minutes before the time, the queue area was full and out in front on the Christmas store.

It was worth the wait. A great interaction!

Yeah, they come out at various times throughout the posted time... the character attendant should be able to tell you the *exact* times they will be out that day... normally they will meet for 30mins or so and then leave for 30mins or so then come back out

The appearances for Tiana and Naveen were also on the Disney website calendar and I had that printed off to bring with us so we knew what time all the parades and shows were at. Just unfortunately the line would already be closed when we went. You really have to go early, not the time that greet starts.

It's a shame that some folks are missing out on the meet, but I'm glad that they are popular. Hopefully that will mean that they'll be around in the parks for a while - fingers crossed that they will still be out when we arrive in October.

Thanks for posting this info. DD(5) would be devasted if she could not meet Tiana & Naveen. She has already said that she will wait all day to meet Tiana & I believe her too. If not you will know when you hear about a little girl who head started spinning & spitting green bile in DW when she couldn't see Tiana on the evaning news.
