If you and your spouse did your first date again, where would they take you?
My husband and I just celebrated 35 years on the 6th. I went out with him as the request of one of my Aunt's in December 1987. We went to a basketball game. He asked me to marry him 2 months later. We eloped in July 1988. We have four children and seven grands. The firehouse to show me the fire engines. And today we celebrated our 42nd Anniversary so I must have been impressed enough to go out with him again.

Congratulations to you both.My husband and I just celebrated 35 years on the 6th. I went out with him as the request of one of my Aunt's in December 1987. We went to a basketball game. He asked me to marry him 2 months later. We eloped in July 1988. We have four children and seven grands.
We grew up together. College, kids, career changes, illness, and just life- I am blessed to be living life with him.
I love going up there and was not long ago. You now need a reservation to go up there. Amazing how much colder it can be.We went to the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park to see the sunrise on the summer solstice. On the way back to campus we stopped for bagels and coffee. We've been married 30 years, together for 38; I knew he was a keeper!
I know. It kills me to not be able to just go drive thru the park. When I worked in Bar Harbor, we'd go over at lunch time just to relax in the park and take in the scenery. Now you have to plan ahead. Not the same...I love going up there and was not long ago. You now need a reservation to go up there. Amazing how much colder it can be.
