If we get FP for Soarin or TT first thing...

when we arrive at 9:00, what would you guess the return time to be (trip is mid November)? We really want to leave Epcot by noon, and mom agreed to go get FP for Soarin or Test Track while I take DS on the other. Which one should we head for first and which one to FP?

Thanks so much!
Tammy

here's ya a good strategy go to one of them first thing and while you are riding one of them get someone who is not riding in your group to get FP for the other :earsboy:

Based on the lines we saw on September 30th, I would fastpass Soarin'. The line was 60 minutes (this was around 11:15 am), while the Test Track stand-by line was 20 minutes.

Soarin' is still new and very popular. I think the waits are longer there.

Not sure about this, but sometimes the first FP times can be late morning, and it's faster to do stand-by because fast passers aren't getting in front of you. again not sure about these rides.

Definitely FP Soarin and wait for Test Track. If you get the FP when the park opens, you should get a return time before noon - but it could be close.

We got to Epcot late on Wed the 5th, about 10:30 and got a FP for Soarin, the ride time was 12:15-1:15. We then did JIYI and Ellen Energy and a few things in innovations. At about 12:20 we got a FP for TT and the return time was 3:50-4:50. We then rode Soarin, had our lunch (LeCellier YUM) and continued on around WS before riding TT later in the day. Since these were the only FP rides we wanted in Epcot it worked out very well.

But what strategy do y'all recommend for TT, MS, and Soarin? Lucky for me my wife will be 22 weeks pregnant and can't ride TT and MS. She can serve as our FP "getter."

In June we arrived at 9:00 headed straight to Soarin and got a Fastpass, then got in the standby line to ride. There was a minimul wait of about 10 minutes right at opening. Then after riding we went over to Test Track and got in the standby line for a 15 minute wait. Since we were among the first to get FP for Soarin, the return time was something like 9:20 - 10:20. So we went to see Crush then rode Soarin again. We did this twice and it worked out great for us, and it was pretty busy! :wave2:

In august we got to epcot at the rope drop and we were escorted straight to Soarin. Hopped right on! After that my oldest daughter and I headed to test track while DH & DD #2 rode Soarin again. DD#1 and I grabbed fast passes then we headed to Mission Space. We rode that and met up with DH & DD#2 for test track! It worked great for us!!

We were among the first 100 people on Soarin when we went the first weekend of October. The only reason we weren't closer to the front was I stopped and grabbed some Fastpasses before getting in line. I think the return time was about 9:55. We had to do babyswap because we had DD1.5. That worked out good for DS5 since he got to ride with me and then again with DW.

After two rides of Soarin, they rode The Land boat ride while I strolled leasurely over to TT to get some fastpasses. I took some time to check out some of the special Food & Wine Festival activities. I got back a little before they finished the boatride. We then did Soarin again (2X for DS) using the Fastpass since we were there already. Since it was the early return time there was almost no wait with the FP's. After that we had a few minutes so we did the Journey into Imagination ride then it was time to do Test Track. On the way into Test Track, I picked up another set of FP's for TT and we returned later in the day to do it again. Baby swap is sweet for DS, he got to do Soarin and Test Track four times each before noon.

Even though Epcot was a bit crowed that day due to F&WF, we did everything we wanted to do before 3 PM and spent the rest of the day at MGM. We even came back to Epcot at the end of the day. It poured down rain on us while waiting for Fantasmic. They finally shot off the fireworks, but didn't do the rest of the show due to the rain. We were walking back to the Swan since the boat launch line was ridiculous. We got back to the boardwalk about 8:40, am I'm like "Hey, we've got time to make it to Illuminations!" (It had stopped raining). And that's just what we did.
