If we can DREAM it, we can do it! ..... another 30 day vacation Update 02/07

Love your latest photos, also love the pastries & breads!:wave2:

Boo Hoo, I can't open the Advent Calendars. I get the dreaded error message & my window closes.:sad2:

Caught up! I'm loving the Paris pics! It is so different from everything I've seen, yet so familiar!

The Eclairs pics made me hungry and the Cheyenne pics made me smile. :goodvibes They did a great job on the theme there - how fun!

Thank you Tom for the fun Calendars! I thought it was the 3rd somewhere so I tried to cheat and open two tonight and I got the "mad Santa" message! :lmao:

Great updates Karin :goodvibes

It sounds like the parks were pretty busy but as always, you and Tom find plenty to do that doesn't mean standing in line!

Shame the CM wasn't very helpful when you were trying to buy the Dooney :headache:

Be sure to post a picture of it when it arrives :thumbsup2

Loving all the pictures. The hotel theme is great especially the "METS" sign, and the view looks amazing. Ahhh...those yummy desserts again, I'll take one of those eclairs. Tell Tom fantastic job on the calenders. So happy it's December for two reasons...1.. I can open the calenders, 2..We are leaving this month. :yay:

I LOVE that sweatshirt. I want one so bad, but I just don't have a way of getting one. I don't know anyone going on the Fantsay yet this year.
Cheynne is really neat looking. I just saw some pictures of it the other day on Passporters too. It has great theming, but it looks like a ghost town.

I hope you post a picture of the new Dooney when it arrives. I bought one while on our trip and then came home and bought another. Kind of like what I did last year. LOL.

First off Tom I am loving my daily calendar!!! Thank you so much for doing this every year !!! Karin I LOVED the theming at Cheyenne , sooo original !! Now those baquettes had my mouth watering , I just love fresh bread . Not that the eclairs weren't also calling my name !!!:rotfl2:

Tom, thank you! Your calendars make me smile every day. :goodvibes

Karin, what is in the Divorce eclairs? Why the name, is there a story (like too many of them caused...)? I am enjoying this trip report so much! :thumbsup2

I'm loving the calendars...DS4 likes the hats. I liked the before & after Yachtsman..and the cupcakes :flower3:

Sorry I have been missing for a few days, but real life/work took up a great deal of my time.

Today, I have some NEWS though!!!!!!!

:yay: For the cruise and a fabulous stateroom!

LOVE the new D&B - it is really cute! I would have been hesitant to order rather than it first, but that one is very nice! ::yes::

What a cute Disney calendar corner! LOVE it!!

Love your new Disney Dooney! I bought my new one before our trip, was going to get it at WDW, but Disney online had a sale! Saved 25% plus free shipping!:thumbsup2

Congratulations on getting a great stateroom. :) I love your Dooney bag and the calender corner is so cute...I have the same wall calender and bought the 2013 one in the summer.

Yes! Most European hotel rooms come with a continental breakfast. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, rolls, butter, jam, ham and cheese if you are lucky. But it is better than nothing. The breakfast at the New York was really nice though. :goodvibes

Most hotels here (at least the ones on the west coast that I have stayed) have continental breakfast. Some are better than others for sure... I like the ones with cook to order breakfast :)

And after browsing through we walked downstairs to the lair to visit the dragon. There were several visitors there and the dragon seemed to be annoyed with some of them as he blew smoke and was wiggling its claws.

Click here to see a video of the dragon!

We watched for a while before we walked out of the lair and over to Fantasyland.

It was packed. Why not try to get on Its a small world. 25 minute wait, no thank you. Peter Pan? More than an hours wait. Thanks, but NO thanks. Even the line to meet Mickey was LONG!!

And after checking out the stores we walked over to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Only a 10 minute wait and we got in line.

It was really a 10 minute wait, but they only used two of four lines.

Sorry for so many posts, but I am attempting to get caught up on dis while waiting for my DH and using my cell phone. It's a slow process.

I LOVE The dragon! Parks do tend to get crowded during the holidays, don't they! Glad you didn't have much if a wait for pirates :)

I was guessing it would just be the Character caravan, but instead they opened up the gates and they had a cute little Christmas Parade.

We were so stunned as we had never seen anything like it and were happy we had been caught and stopped. It only lasted for about five minutes and then we fought the crowds and walked towards the exit. Since it was nearly midday we decided to stop at Earl of Sandwich for lunch.

What a cute parade. I love the holiday parades at Disney!

Love the picture of Tink sitting up there. So cute and festive.

Photos done we sat down and had a snack. Tom had one of the

Chocolate Croissants we had bought and I tried one of

the double eclairs, called Divorce. Now that we had filled up on sugar again, we were ready to head out again, but there was somewhere else I wanted to go, before heading into the park again. Since we saw how many people walked towards the Disney Village we had not much desire to stay at the parks longer than it would take to see the tree lighting, but there were more resorts to visit. So around 4pm we grabbed our cameras and started to walk over to the Hotel Cheyenne.

What was supposed to be an hour wait, has turned into a much longer wait so my dinner has been greatly postponed. Lucky me I'm looking at your wonderful food pictures now. Yum!
