Need advice. We'll going to Universal/IOS on Saturday, April 10 and Wednesday, April 13.

If we are going to take uber from Pop Century to Universal for 9 am rope drop, what time should we call uber to get there before 9 am rope drop? I think it was suggested we should be at Universal before 8:30 am?

Does the park open little earlier?

Does uber drop you off close to entrance?

Thank you

Sometimes the workers will start letting people in early (15-20 mins-ish), but you should be early, just because people start lining up at least 30 mins early. You don't want to be 50 people back in line when they open.

I believe Uber drops you off in the parking garage area, just like the CB shuttles, when you exit the garage area, you will be in CityWalk. Maybe 5-10 min walk to the gates; more for crowds/bag check.

My son and his best friend took Uber to Universal last week. They were picked up at the Beach Club around 7:30 am. Once they called for a ride, it was a few minutes before they were picked up.

They wanted to be in line at Universal early to make sure they were there when the gates opened. They were there in plenty of time.

It was about $15 each way to Universal.

Dropoff is at the parking structure. There a lot of real estate to be traversed just to get into city walk then over to your park of choice then into line. I would leave pop at least an hour before, but knowing me I would leave even earlier.

agreed, and then you join the line waiting to get into the park

OP going to assume you will have tickets in hand or will spend good chunk of time @ GS outside the park.

we use uber often in Orlando but you could easily be waiting 10 minutes for a pickup depending on where they happen to be floating about in your area.
