Both the family one and the one of the girls turned out really well. To be honest when we went to pick the pictures it was incredibly difficult because they all looked amazing and they added some digital effects to some but as they were VERY expensive we could only afford two:sad2: .

Glasgow was cold but fun, we shopped and went for lunch before going to the photographers studio and had a great time. It makes me laugh when you describe Glasgow as exotic, it is an incredible city very beautiful in most areas with loads to do and see but exotic? I'm not so sure;) :lmao:

With the dollar being so strong against the pound you American chicks should be planning your vacations to the UK to experience it all for yourself (and also to boost our non existant economy, you could see it as an act of charity:rolleyes1 :lmao: )

:rotfl: Well, I WILL make it there SOMEDAY, even if it kills me! Sadly though, I am Canadian, and our dollar stinks as well! And trust me, when you are from Vancouver, Glasgow sounds very cool and worldly!

It is SO unfair when they tempt you with all those gorgeous looking pictures and they are beyond expensive.. and you KNOW they are just going to destroy them anyhow so it is always so hard to leave without buying them! Last time, I made my mother go with me to pick up to stop me from spending too much on pictures and instead we EACH ended up with too many pics! I swear, it is impossible to get out of there without going overboard! I hope you showed more self control than I do! Although, I think it has gotten a little easier as the kids have gotten bigger. I think I still have 475,000 professional baby pictures in a box......

:sad2: So sad, but you are aware that there are some low cost airlines flying direct to Scotland from Canada now...just sayin' :lmao:

It is SO difficult to stick to just one or two pics but when you've got a man like mine is you don't have any chance of over spending KWIM;) . There are about six pics I'm still obsessin about that I couldn't get:scared: One of them had Niamh holding her knees into her chest and the superimpossed fairy wings on her back:cutie: and one had Becci leaning against a wall and the outline of butterflies all around her...I could cry because I can't have them but Donny insisted that the need to buy food is more important than buying costly pictures (don't know where he gets a bizarre idea like that from:confused: :rotfl: )

I LOVE the picture of your daughters in your sig!!! It's so beautiful!:goodvibes
I agree! Stunning.

Hi Cherie, I see in your signature you have just over a month left! :cool1:

Never been but from What David has said it's not very exotic :rotfl2:

Yes, but YOU are from England! So it probably isn't as cool to you cause it is so close! To us, halfway around the world, you guys are both tres exotic! (hmmm... can't make the little accent thingy over my e work... well, you get the picture!)

:confused3 Men.

Did you point out that the food will be gone within days, but the pics would last forever? :rotfl:

The ones you left sound amazing, I don't know how you can stand it!

Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a Happy Holiday! (late, though I am!)
:grouphug:

 Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. How was your visit with K? Is he still there? What are you doing NYE? I have decided to let the kids have a party. :crazy2:

Ohana, Tusker, Chef Mickey's, Mama Melrose, Boma...:teeth:

:thumbsup2 is Tusker a TS? I love 'Ohana!!! :lovestruc

:flower3: Hi Tracey hope you and your tribe are having a great holiday season

Congrats on the ADR's Jenny:thumbsup2

It was Jen who made them not me. ;)

Kirsteen, it's so the pants that we have to wait until 90 days out but since the calendars aren't out either, I guess it shouldn't matter. Where are you thinking of making ADRs? Do you do the DDP? Anything fun planned for NYE?

Tusker is a TS...if you book between 1 and 1:40 you get priority seating to Nemo.

We also got the fantasmic package with Mama Melrose.

He is still here. I have to work today and tomorrow though, so he is hanging with the kidlets! lol.
I too am thinking I will let the boys have a couple of friends over for NYE.. there is nothing I am particularly excited about doing that night and I think I am going to do a 5k in the snow on New Year's Day, so I might as well if I have to have an early night of it anyhow. I will make a few parents love me anyhow!

The pants? I SO have to hang out here more so that I can learn all the cool English/Scottish slang!

*Writing this tidbit down in my little book o Disney tips* Do you need the priority for Nemo?

You are quite the runner! :worship:

Tell him hi for me. Have a fun NYE with the kiddies. I am planning like a mad woman for the kids' party. I ordered the cake today. :hyper:

::yes:: You do need to hang out here more!

I don't think you *need* the priority. But, it's better than standing in line for an hour before hand! :teeth:

I agree! Stunning.

Thank you for the complements ladies:goodvibes

Tracy, no offence to the beloved one, but do not listen to our Jo as she knows naught of what she speaks. There is a very good reason they call Glasgow 'Scotland with Style', it is a very beautiful city with a fabby cultural scene, superb shopping and the nightlife is out of this world...methinks you are in need of a girlie weekend in my neck of the woods Miss Jo;). Take a look on the internet at The Italian Centre, Princes Square, Glasgow West End to name but a few places...you'll be smitten
Here ends this public service announcement on behalf of the Scottish Tourist Board and Glasgow City Council:rotfl2:

Definitely agree, what other one did you get???

Thanks for the :goodvibes re the pic girls, the other portrait is a family one and is rather large so I don't know if I'll be able to scan it. If I'm successfull I'll pop it on my FB so you can all have a wee peek. The girls and Donny look great in it, I on the other hand have a face like a City Bakeries Halloween cake:scared1: :lmao:

Yep David has only gone from the airport to World of Golf!!!

For sure I will tell him hi! We were talking about you just the other day. You should have seen us, pathetically trying to justify another WDW trip in May so we could see you guys... It has been FOREVER!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh and Jenny it's just pants, not the pants :thumbsup2

I think I am going to start taking notes so I that when I finally make it to Europe I sound like a local! Well, other than the fact that my English accent (used only to do the voices when reading Harry Potter to the boys) is HORRENDOUS. Luckily, the boys don't know anyone from England and therefore have no idea what an injustice I do..... ;)
