I get daily emails from SideStep and when I opened it today the flight had dropped $150 since yesterday! I think I peed in my pants a little when I saw. I did the search and there were a at least 20 different Delta and American choices but after much researching and a wonderful convesation with the ever elusive Keith, I bought the flights. before all of this I called DH to tell him what I had found and he said: book it!

I am SO jacked up right now, I have no words. I decided on a red-eye after talking with Keith because a) we'd arrive at 11 pm anyway and b) the layover times for the daytime flights were less an an hour on most which I have learned through experience is NOT enough time to make a connecting flight unless the original flight is on time for both departing and arriving.

I talked to Michael last night and he likes the red-eye idea too. I never sleep the night before a trip. I hardly sleep the first night before Disney anyway. We think the kids will crash. The only not great part will be the layover in Atlanta for 2 hours at 5:30 am. Gab will be fine and I even think Joshua will manage but I see DH having to carry Chloe. We'll make sure they have pillows and blankets and all will be well.

On our trip to Mexico we had a 1 hour layover and we raced to the next gate at Bush airport and it sucked!

Last time I went to DC we had a 45 minute layover in Denver. Due to electrical problems in Salt Lake, we got to Denver about 30 minutes after the plane left and had to hang out at the airport most of the day.

Don't worry. I heard it's only supposed to snow a little. And I cannot believe you leave Saturday!

I can't believe we leave Saturday either! DH is already packing--I have lists made, but that's it. We're expecting the snow could cause a little delay, but hopefully not too much.

They had a great time other than Tracy hurting her neck (nothing serious) but it did keep her off the rides for the rest of the trip.

I am way excited about the flights. We haven't told the kids and are thinking about making it a surprise for now. I have mentioned that I want to go but haven't told them we are yet. I just wish we could make our ADRs. I have also been searching hotel options for the extra two nights. We have decided to stay the additional nights make the days in the parks an even 10 days. Even DH is in on the fun. We lsitened to our Disney music last night and he called Jenna and Nate and left a cute message.

Oh I wish believe me!!! Just very busy at work, preping for Christmas, Christmas night out, Carol concerts, etc,etc....same as the rest of you I guess I've also been manouvered into getting all the pressies for the Sunday School Christmas Party on top of all my own shopping . Roll on Christmas Day
