:rolleyes1 Not that many people are posting but me. I am ready to continue the Yellowstone trippie- with pictures!!! :cool1: I know there are lots of people reading so please come out and play. :flower3:

So, DH took us for a ride and as soon as we got back, he got called out on a fire. It never fails. Never ever.

It's dark out by now. I decided to trade cars with DH and that's where the beast comes into play. We have a Volvo, a Ford F250, and the beast. The beast is a paid for, 1994, ::yes:: 1994 Saturn. I heart the beast, I truly do. It gets amazing gas mileage and because of the high price of fuel the truck sits. It takes deisel fuel and at a whopping 15 miles to the gallon, it ain't movin'. :headache: I go to start the beast and it won't turn over. Luckily for me, Nate had bought some handy dandy charger thingy of sorts and was able to jump my beast! :woohoo: :rotfl2: Get yer minds out of the gutter.

I drive Jenna home, in the beast. You know I love ya when you are allowed in the beast. I have to trust you totally.

We got home, watched Nim's Island which was awesome, and got to bed just after midnightish. Mind you, I hadn't even started packing yet. :scared1: Some weird Type B person took over my body.

DH got home around 9 am and after packing the cars, the kids, and one final stop at Starbuck's we were on the road by 11 am. :thumbsup2

We got to Pocatello, Idaho and it was time for lunch. Where else could we eat but Jack In The Box. Here are a few pics. Notice my kids holding up packets of JITB's Secret Sauce. :rotfl:

I think we stopped once more in Ashton, Idaho and I got this nifty picture of Jenna and Nate. Aren't they darling?!

We finallly made it to the KOA in West Yellowstone, checked in, and found out our Kabins were not next to each other. This bummed me out at first but it turned out to be a good thing. Our Kabin was on the end so it gave us extra room for the kids to play. We cooked and stuff at our Kabin but slept seperately.

That's all for now. I need to finish uploading and my Mac is running painfully slow..........

Okay, so I changed my mind. I don't have the energy to do a play by play of the whole trip so how about some photos with captions? ::yes:: Great! :rotfl2: Nothing like talking to yourself................

The kids at the campsite:

Me with a big mug of Captain and Coke being the Jakey that I am:

Nate is a wee Jakey too:

DH peeling potatoes in preparation for dinner:

Two full girls, notice the emptier mugs of booze :rotfl2:

Gabby stuffing her face:

Nothing like a game of Wiffle Ball after a good meal:

A dip after the game:

Did someone say 'Smores????

The next morning. Michael would be the chef throughout the trip. :thumbsup2

Cooking brekkie:

Nothing like soda for breakfast! Joshua's hair will get progressively bigger during the trip. :lmao:

Can't go to Jellystone without this shot:

Kids on a rock:

Guess where this is?

Not Old Faithful. DH said we have enough so I thought this would make a good body double for OF:

Hidden Mickey anyone:

:rotfl2: :lmao: Peeps for Jordan:

Bison and buffalo, bedbugs and ballyhoo:

:snooty: female elk:

More to come later..............................

Jenny, I can't believe you had the nerve to take pictures of random peeps at yellowstone!! What's wrong with you?;) :lmao:

Great pics! Looks like you had a fun time!

I'm glad that jumping the beast was finally explained, although in my mind, I had a visual of Nate jumping over your dog. :scared1:

It really was a fantastic time. I have more pics I am hoping to get up today. I don't want to steal Jenna's thunder but I am so excited that they saw a bear in Yellowstone. In all the times we've been we saw one once and it was so far away, it looked like a brown cotton ball. :rotfl:

You are so G rated Bevily! :goodvibes How's the planning coming?

You are so G rated Bevily! :goodvibes

So true, so true. ::yes:: I try to be all hardcore, but I'm not.

How's the planning coming?
It's coming along OK. I've got most of our ADRs, but I'm stuck on the airfare. I'm not sure if I should buy now or wait to see if it drops a bit.

What's on the schedule for this weekend?

I posted this in your thread but I would call the airline and find out about their chang fees first. My flights, if I booked today, would be $450 RT pp. :scared1: I don't see flights coming down all that much but again, I did score SLC to Wash DC for $212 RT pp this May for Gab's trip next month. The airlines are so fickle. I guess it depends on the price of fuel. :confused3

What ADRs do you have?

What's on the schedule for this weekend?

Are you sure ou want to know? ;)

I haven't told anyone yet but my friend who moved to Canada is moving back!!!! :woohoo: Her hubby is coming over tonight for dinner and to stay over; he was here buying a house. They move back officially in 2 weeks.

Saturday: soccer 9 am, soccer 11 am, lunch with a friend 1 pm, piano recital 4 pm, grocery shopping, shoe shopping. :faint:

Sunday: pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cloud9: And then the kidlets start school Monday. Chloe's teacher sent her a really cute card in the mail welcoming her to 4th grade. I love that stuff. :goodvibes

Busy week with Becci starting high school:scared: and dealing with Niamh's separation anxiety when Becci's not there. I have also been online shopping for bargins for next years big trip:woohoo: . No further forward with making accommodation ressies, I emailed the company but they said it's only the retail rates that are out and airline rates won't be out until fall:sad: . The flights are already booked and I have been doing a quite alot of shopping...only to keep myself motivated you understand:rolleyes1

I need to find a kilt smiley! :thumbsup2 I am embracing my Jakeyness.

Is Niamh sad without her big sis around? :goodvibes Poor thing. Bribing always worked for me. It reminds me of when both the girls were in school when Joshua was just under 2 y/o. We would drop them off and then when we got home he'd sob and wait by the front door for them to get home, crying Babbo (Gabby) and Woe woe (Chloe). :cutie:

How's Bex enjoying high school?
